Theo Gramal (@theogramal) is the musical project of Leipzig based nature’s child Luca, artist and creator of our today‘s podcast # 062. 
We’re happy to share with you his very first live set - a warm coloured mosaic he has designed in his studio in collaboration with friends, containing exclusively his own productions.
When Luca learned to make music and express moods and feeling through it in his early 20s, a whole new world opened up for him, quickly getting addicted to creating those fluffy and energetic vibes we know him for.
With warm and deep baselines, melodious grooves with oriental touches and playful patterns, his sound makes you wander through imaginary worlds of warmth and mystery. 
To follow Theo Gramal’s idea of a bird as an inner spirit animal, a symbol of lightness and freedom, we invite you to get up, feel light like a flying creature, move and forget about gravity, just flow and enjoy the rhythms with us. ❤️

As the world begins to be subsumed by nostalgia, I am in the mood for carnival. Because I believe in celebrating the fall. The fall that teaches us about the importance of pain. The fall that helps us to get up. The fall that makes us wiser. This is a mix to celebrate the fall, and to find ourselves dancing happily, looking at each other with camaraderie while everything changes, while the world falls, and then revives among new colors that do not yet exist. It's been quite a year for all of us. Locked away in our homes....unable to see friends or family....  It's hard to get LOST when you can't go anywhere. My inspiration is at an all time low, and as the days start melting into weeks, months, years.... How is it almost March again!? I still haven't processed the last one....

And yet, with how turbulent this last year has been, there have been little flashes of brilliance....flickers of hope, and even new friends made.  One such friend is this cool cat Moro.... a fellow downtempo savant from the Pacific Northwest.  We seem to have connected even moro--so (heheh) in this Pandemic, as we both figured out how to navigate the live stream world with our dj sets... and to keep the live music flames of passion burning when iconic music venues in our states closed down. Who is Moro...no....

Where is MORO? 

If you ask him, he probably won't be able to pinpoint his current location. Instead he'll tell you he's on an endless journey of self-discovery and self-awareness. What he will also tell you is that he feels he is on the right path because of one key behavioral change: self-love. 

Because of the way his brain works, MORO often gets LOST in his thoughts. These wayward wanderings take him to the highest heights of his creativity but also the lowest lows of self-doubt, stress, and Emotional Turbulence. So what does self-love have to do with any of this? Embracing the lows with self-compassion is just as important as celebrating the highs with self-adulation; acknowledging and lovingly accepting the bad helps us appreciate the good.

In this mix, MORO explores the ups and downs and invites you to do the same. Enjoy this rollercoaster ride of groovy sounds packed with all kinds of emotions. Enjoy the mix.
