Oliver Huntemann’s concrete roots can be traced back to early techno. Hadhe been any younger, he would undoubtedly have sucked electronica likemother’s milk from a C64 chip. Like so many of his colleagues, his route totechno took a tour through electro and rave. He could tell the usual veterantales when it comes to influences, his first record purchases, or on the subjectof the good old days. Been there, done that! It was more difficult maintaininga low profile.June 2017 saw the first Senso Sounds Day and Night Open Air draw in thecrowds, a perfect springboard to extend the scope of label and bookingoperations. Both his label Senso Sounds and his Kontrast Artists agencyhave been up and running since 2014.Huntemann the producer and collaborator has racked up remixes for the likesof Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Underworld (the list goes on) and hiswork with Dubfire now spans a good eight years (Elements, Dios, Diablo,Humano).Since 2016, his residency at Watergate has been illuminating Berlin's nightlifequite brilliantly, whilst he continues to play clubs and festivals all over theplanet: from Warung in Brazil and the Rex Club in Paris to BPM Festival inMexico, Strawberry Fields and Let Em Eat Cake in Australia or WoogieWeekend in California.2017 sees the arrival of Oliver Huntemann's 5th album “Propaganda”,traileredby two EPs entitled Rotlicht and Poltergeist. All three releases ripplewith taut techno tunes as only he can deliver. Six long years have passedsince the 4th Huntemann album “Paranoia”, but do not be fooled into thinkinghe was taking a break - on the contrary, he has been busier than ever.That’s how it is in the north, actions count, not appearances!

Somebodies.Child Podcast #68 with Oliver Huntemann

Er reist um den Globus, spielt Live oder als DJ in vielen der einflussreichsten Clubs und Festivals der Welt und veröffentlicht regelmäßig auf renommierten Labels wie Senso Sounds, Second State, Noir Music, Octopus Recordings oder Jannowitz Records.

Die Rede ist von André Winter. Seit den neunziger Jahren ein begeisterter Anhänger des Techno und elektronischer Musik und bis heute ein respektierter und einflussreicher Künstler.

Geboren und aufgewachsen in Oldenburg verbrachte er einen Großteil seiner Jugend in Clubs, Plattenläden, Musikgeschäften und vor Computern. Die Anfänge der Rave-Kultur, das erste Studio und einer der ersten Clubs mit elektronischer Musik in Norddeutschland sind die Eckpfeiler von André Winters Werdegang.

Parallel zu seinen eigenen Releases hat sich André Winter eine Nische als international anerkannter Musikproduzent geschaffen. Viele etablierte Künstler aus dem Techno- und House-Genre, aber auch Bands aus musikalisch anderen Genres vertrauten sich André an und ließen ihre Produktionen von ihm veredeln. Das Ergebnis waren viele internationale Hits, aber auch Chartplatzierungen, darunter mehrere Top-10-Alben. 

Als ehrgeiziger und beständig arbeitender Künstler mit der Weitsicht, sich zurückzuziehen und sich Zeit zu nehmen, wenn es nötig ist, tritt André Winter in eine neue Phase seines musikalischen Lebens ein; zuversichtlich, zufrieden und hoch motiviert, immer wieder neue Produktionen auf die Beine zu stellen, blickt er mit neuem Optimismus und Energie in die Zukunft.

Mia Mangata Bio

Mia Mangata discovered her love for electronic music 17 years ago in Frankfurt am Main. In 2016, she moved to Berlin. 3 years later, after countless forays through Berlin's diverse club scene, Mia started to fill the local dance floors with her sound. Shortly after she had begun DJing, her sets were featured by "Jeden Tag ein Set". Last year, she published her first track "Irregular" together with Floordrobe. Mia Mangata’s style ranges from Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Indie Dance up to Techno. Her sets, characterized by a continuous increase of energy, are driving, melodic, and bass-heavy. They give listeners an energy boost in their legs and take them on a musical rollercoaster ride.

A perfectly fit for his upcoming release 'Elevate' - Roman Adam gave the turntables a spin and delivered a dark and pumping mix for the SENSO SOUNDS session!

Roman Adam, one half of the renowned The Coast project and co-owner of the Fish & Chicks imprint joins the Senso Sounds roster with a blistering techno three tracker for Oliver Huntemann’s exceptionally prolific techno imprint. First up is Elevate - a taut and rough roller with
huge synth bursts and acidic squiggles. Kraft Effect is similarly focussed - a laser sharp groove punctuated by syncopated percussion and arpeggiated, modular style lines. This one builds and
builds. Pretend finishes off the release, another firing, honed slice of techno weaponry that fits perfectly into the Senso canon.
