Today is a bittersweet day for Illegal Alien and myself. Exactly 13 years ago, we started this project, in April 2007 we began to materialize a dream that consists of uniting and supporting legitimate artists, movements and expressions. Every year we usually celebrate in a special way, unfortunately, this year we feel that we do not have much to celebrate, the health of our peoples is affected by a monster. We are living in very difficult times, without the certainty of when we will be able to embrace ourselves again. We know that millions of people have lost their jobs after this difficult crisis, while some of us will be able to cope with this situation and as usual happens, those with the least are the most affected.

In Mexico, as in many other parts of the world, since before the pandemic caused by COVID-19 was declared, many families faced daily resignation to the eternal battle against extreme poverty. The health systems require our full support and the donations that we can make individually and collectively to them today are a great help because from the frontline, there is not enough material. But we must not forget those who have the least, they are going out to try to earn a few little money to bring food to their homes and taking very high risks by doing it. Commemorating an important day for all of us, we want to do something special, but it will be special only if you help us to make it that way. We have released at no cost the compilation that artists of illegal Alien had planned to commemorate the 13 years of the project, everybody can have access now to download the whole release for free via Illegal Alien Bandcamp store. In the purchase section, we have enabled the option "let fans pay if they want".

If you are in a position in which a donation will not affect your economy during this difficult period, we will ensure that your donation will reach the hands of those who need it the most. If you cannot make a donation, because the situation has become difficult for you, download the music, it is yours, which with all our love we want to help you make this day less complicated. The funds that we manage to collect will be used to buy food that will be donated to a marginalized area of ​​the state of Yucatan in Mexico. In this way we will deliver food to the homes that need it most (with all the preventive measures and distance that the authorities have indicated), and with this we will ensure that at least for few days, they can stay at home knowing that food will not be lacking. Any donation, no matter how small it is, will help a lot. We invite artists, promoters and record labels to join us, replicating this help to the people who need it most in their communities, if we all work together we can help many families in need.

In order for you to know the final destination of your donation, we will maintain total and absolute transparency, showing evidence of the amount raised to the date in which we will receive the donations, which will be on Saturday, April 18 and we will document the purchase of food and the final destination of it. Ida Mandato was born in a little village of Calabria, Southern Italy, in 1989. Seduced by music and by art in general, she moved to Rome where she got the possibility to open herself to many new experiences. There, she attended a bachelor degree in Art History and, at the same time, she took her path behind the board. 
She made her debut in 2013 and she began to work with Animal Social Club, becoming resident DJ after a year. In that period, she gradually developed her technique and the ability to express herself through music, becoming increasingly notorious and admired in the underground clubs in Rome firstly, then across Italy and Europe. At that moment, she started to travel between Rome and Berlin, enhancing her sound with the impeccable taste typical of the Eternal City, ranging from ambient, experimental and dark techno to the raw and violent sounds of industrial, inspired by the modern and fervent Berlin. 
She is a resident of the project Risonanza and she has dozens of important collaborations like the one with the Front 242 ,under her belt always succeeding to make her mark. From 2017 to 2019 she began her studies and graduated first in Electronic Music Producer, then as Sound Engineer.
