"Sentient is the moniker for Madhav Jolly, a producer / DJ and designer from India. His music paints ethereal landscapes with nostalgic melodies and sounds. Combining techno, trance, acid and breakbeats, his music is versatile and provides listeners with various atmospheric textures weaved for the dancefloor and the headphone raver."

This one is a fantastic blend of acidy-breakbeat goodness with a sprinkle of his original production mixed in bound to put a spring in your step!

Fresh Episode of Bøne Appetit! with Producer, DJ & multi -disciplinary sound designer from Bangalore, India, Madhav Jolly AKA Sentient. Surrounded by his father's cast collection of music, it was at an early age when Madhav knew that this was something he wanted to pursue. After learning how to play the guitar & dabbling with various instruments, he delved into the world of electronic music.

Having spent a couple of years honing his production skills, Sentient released "Desire" on Acid Dream Records in the summer of 2020. This was followed by 2 more releases on his imprint, titled "Resistance" & "Against Reason". Finding himself at an intersection of art & social responsibility, Sentient's music now aims to weave euphoric atmospheres by combining ethereal landscapes & nostalgic melodies.

A mix of techno, trance, acid & breakbeats, his music provides various textures, helping navigate the listener through an intense journey filled with emotion & energy. His music has been featured on BBC Asia on Aneesha Kotwani's residency, on BALAMII radio, his music has also been played out by Nikki Nair amongst many others. He has also received widespread recognition all over the world, most recently, being featured on Mixlabs London with BEC. He now has 2 forthcoming vinyl releases on Lobster Theremin, Later this year.

Established by Bønehead in 2021, New Delhi based community driven record label, magazine & internet radio - Bøne.FM presents the label’s debut compilation with the effort of artists from around the world showcasing their most ambitious work. Being a genre fluid label the V/A goes from progressive ambient to bass fueled club tracks, melodic house tunes and some experimental work in between. This makes the listener’s experience a quite fulfilling journey.
Mumbai based producer and DJ Sentient, is known for his unique fusion of 90's  percussive rave sounds and progressive trance grooves with an unparalleled  blend of nostalgic rave elements and pulsating rhythms. With a knack for blending gritty yet sensual elements, Sentient crafts energetic dance music that ignites the dance floor. Embarking on his musical  journey in 2020, he swiftly made waves with releases on his own label followed  by releases on Delhi based Antariksh Records. 
Sentient's talent has not gone unnoticed, as his tracks have been featured on  prominent platforms and radio stations. His music received airtime on BBC Asia  during Aneesha Kotwani's residency. BALAMII radio, Hör Radio gaining further  recognition for its innovative soundscapes. Renowned DJs like Nikki Nair,  Asquith, Tan and BEC amongst others have also championed Sentient's music,  incorporating it into their sets. As his reputation continues to soar, Sentient's  distinctive sound has reached global audiences with Electronic Beats TV. He recently was featured on Mixlabs London and Rinse France.

This set was recorded live at House Of Pandora, Mumbai on the 2nd of February. This marked the first edition of ELVT Opne 2 Close sessions - featuring all night long DJ Sets from some of the finest artists in the nation. This set is a two and a half hour long euphoric journey through an array of genres from house to acid house to breaks to jungle to techno to electro and everything in between!
