Despite being just over two years old, YANA hits their 30th single already with a return from new-kids-on-the-block, Lateral.

Lateral already cut their teeth with their recent debut single "Take Me Away / Do It" premiering their top-level dancefloor production, whilst "Every Nite" takes it to a whole new level. Featuring an anthemic sing-along vocal and a heavy acid bassline, Lateral show us that they aren't just a flash in the pan, and here to make their mark on the dancefloor D&B scene for good.

The Australian DnB scene is on fire right now with acts like Ekko & Sidetrack, Blaine Stranger, V O E and Solomon France (FKA SØL) all regularly tearing down the dance and producing flames in the studio. What’s more all of these awe-inspiring artists are proudly flying the flag for Viper Recordings.To further showcase their talents we are pulling together the Aus team to all feature on the ‘Wizards Of Aus EP’

The first release in the series comes courtesy of high energy duo V O E, fresh off the back of their latest killer ‘Chemical EP’ the guys waste no time in showing us they mean business with another cinematic stomper. ‘Running Blind’ beginnings with a beguiling juxtaposition of soft piano hits against Caroline’s powerful and raw vocal. As the track continues to build the drop reveals a harder edge with a chugging low end and all the mosh-pit energy of the rowdiest raves.

Reverberating neuro drenched stabs make up the bold and brash body of this dancefloor beast, which is sure to be dominating festival floors throughout 2022 and way beyond.

Hospitals are drastically full of patients and government cannot find the cure for the unknown sickness. Doctors tried almost everything, when suddenly one patient got suddenly up and started mumbling. "The end is near..." sickman said.
Title track of the EP "Sickman" is a vintage like club destroyer from russian producers Inerpois & Backup. It scarily describes the current situation in the world. Second track "Misconception" is energetic roller collaboration with Pezutek and has a bigger mortality on the dancefloor than every other sickness out there. "Land Is Hard" is the last contribution on the EP from Backup featuring a singer Swetti Illinois with dark and atmospheric vocals.

Sentinels Records was born in 2022, this @prototypesrecords sublabel is focused on diversity of Bass Music.

After many releases from our artists, their creations extends to other styles, as their wishes to offer something different. It is with pleasure that we give them the opportunity to diversify and explore another dimension of electronic music. 

We will use this project to present to you new artists, new aliases, but also international guests.
We do not want to limit ourselves to one genre, but to offer diverse releases on all possible styles of Bass Music, from Drum & Bass, Neurofunk, to Dubstep, Midtempo, Cyberpunk, Hardwave, EBM ... The Sentinels have no limits.
