Friday 13th September - The Kaff, Wigan (Ex 51st State)

A new chapter for Acceleration has begun. From starting out in Bradford to then move on to Blackburn we find our selfs in WIgan at our new home The Kaff. It wasn't easy finding a new venue but we think we have made the perfect choice. 

For our first event we have once again thought outside the box, booking artists that are different from the norm and most importantly you 'the bounce crowd' want to see !

PLEASE NOTE - Although this is a foam party there is a huge dry area where you can stay out of the foam and rave away.

DBC returns to the UK for his first set since 2006 . Expect all his biggest Bumping & Poky anthems in this one off producer showcase. You wanted him you got him !

► WOD-C (Hardbass)

The pioneer of HardBass in the UK and winner of the Smirnoff National DJ competition. Although he is better known for frequenting foreign soil the originator of UK HardBass comes to Acceleration for a one off exclusive set. Say goodbye to your face.

Wigan pier legend Nitra M's second showing for acceleration and this time its on his home turf. Expect the biggest upfront wigan pier anthems.

Well ......
Unless any of you crazy bounce loving maniacs have been living under a rock (or had no internet) you will have noticed that over the past month we have slowly being releasing our line up for our big summer special event.

As you know by now we try to go one better on every event we do and for this we have gone all out and pulled out all the stops to make it absolutely insane.

The party will start in the day at Ibiza bar on king street. Here you will be presented with a huge courtyard with a hired in beast of a sound system, club decor and professional dancers. The outdoor music policy is classics, dance, vocal bounce & NRG. To add to this we are hiring in some HOT TUBS, stilt walkers, fire breathers, angle grinders etc and so fourth. 

There will also be a BBQ on the day incase you get peckish. Don't worry if it rains we have covered ... literally ... !

On to the night do and this is situated at the top of king street at Pure nightclub formerly the Kaff where we have previously held events. 
This is where you will hear the whole spectrum of bouncy house music from Pumping/Klubb classics through to filthy hard bass wobblers. 

We will be open here from 10-6am. The club will have loads of top drinks deals on which we will post in the event closer to the time. 

For this momentous occasion we have decided to fly over artists from Australia, Poland, Spain & Russia plus have the creme of the crop of the UK + some of the best up and comers and vetrans in the scene.

"Lay Her Down” is the brand new joint from Skepta, a first taste of his forthcoming album Konnichiwa. The perfect summer vibe, “Lay Her Down” features Skepta and award-winning MC Kano rhyming over a laid back, 80s inspired, bass-heavy, funk track. 
The track started life as a skit on his recent mixtape Blacklisted, but the response from fans was so big that Skepta decided to record a full-length version, inviting Kano along for the ride.
Guaranteed to light up dancefloors this summer, the single has seen strong support from radio and has already been added to 1Xtra’s B-list and Choice FM’s A-list. It’s now making waves at TV and has been snapped up by Kiss FM’s ‘Breakin Beats’, Channel AKA, MTV Base and MTV Dance.
Choice FM’s Jenny Francis gave “Lay Her Down” its world exclusive first spin. Charlie Sloth debuted the single on 1Xtra and quickly made it his record of the week. More support has come from Choice FM’s Firin Squad, Ras Kwame and Woody and from Rinse FM.
