Known for her fast, uplifting BPM sets, she brings the dance floor to life with peak-time classics, blending a variety of subgenres within techno, including industrial, rave, acid, hard dance, hard groove, schranz, electro, and driving techno, without being limited by one specific style.

DJ Bowlcut, who describes himself as a "DATA JOCKEY" playing all the musical data that exists in the world, has been an influential figure in the Korean electronic music scene. As a DJ and producer shaping the foundation of the local club scene, he has been actively involved in various projects. His track selection, imbued with meaning in every choice, has the power to bring energy to different times and spaces. Rooted in minimal house, leftfield sounds, and Dub Techno, his genre-blurring selections are enhanced by his unique mixing style, shaped by his background as a turntablist, delivering an unforgettable experience to listeners.

Currently, he also runs Seoul Community Radio, contributing to the growth of the scene while building networks that connect various venues, collectives, and brands across Korea and the world. His exposure to diverse music and ideas naturally extends into his production work, with vinyl releases on labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, 777 Recordings, and Phutureshock Records, as well as digital releases on Gestalt Records and Maai Records.

Recently, he launched the "Principauté de Bowl-Air" label, dedicated to minimal house and techno, where he releases both digital and vinyl records. By integrating modular synthesizers, vinyl, forgotten hardware techniques, and the latest AI and computer technologies to make Korean Pop and Indie, Rap sound to Deep Minimal House and Dubby.

스스로 세상에 존재하는 모든 음악 데이터를 플레이하는 DATA JOCKEY 라고 칭하는 DJ Bowlcut. 한국의 일렉트로닉 신에서 두루 많은 활동을 펼쳐왔으며, 현재 국내 클럽신의 기반을 다지고 있는 디제이/프로듀서이다. 한국 한 곡의 선택에 다양한 의미를 부여하는 그의 음악 셀렉션은 각기 다른 시간과 장소에 에너지를 불러오는 힘을 가지고 있다. 미니멀 하우스, 레프트필드, 그루비 테크노를 중심으로 장르를 넘나드는 그의 셀렉션은, 턴테이블리스트 출신인 그의 독창적인 믹싱 방법으로 나타나며 이를 듣는 이로 하여금 잊지 못할 경험을 선사한다.

또한 현재 서울 커뮤니티 라디오 (Seoul Community Radio)를 운영하며 신의 발전에도 기여를 하고 있는 그는 한국, 그리고 전세계의 다양한 배뉴와 컬렉티브, 브랜드들을 이어주는 다양한 네트워크들을 만드는 역할을 하고 있다. 이를 통해 다양한 음악과 생각들을 전하는 그의 음악은 프로덕션으로도 이어져, Unknown To The Unknown, 777 Recordings, Phutureshock Records 등의 레이블에서 릴리즈된 바이닐, 그리고 Gestalt Records, Maai Records 등의 레이블에서 나온 디지털 릴리즈에서 확인할 수 있다.

최근 그는 모듈러 신디사이저와 바이닐, 그리고 기존에 잊혀졌던 방식의 하드웨어와 최신의 AI, 컴퓨터 기술들을 이용해 그만의 세계를 창조하는 ‘Principauté de Bowl-Air’라는 미니멀 하우스 / 테크노 레이블을 시작하며 디지털 음반들과 바이닐 음반들을 릴리즈하며 활동을 하고 있다.
