An avid record collector from London Ricardo De Meneses has been djing all over the world since 2011. After spending time in South Africa and Oman he currently lives in the U.A.E where he had two residencies in the past 4 years. Previously at the legendary Analog Room, Dubai and the second at the other long running regional mainstay Boogie Box, Abu Dhabi. His style can be described as bass driven, groovy and energetic, with unique or unusual elements and often a 90’s flavour. He mostly plays a mixture of stripped back house, minimal, breakbeat, electro, techno and garage but it’s ever evolving.

Over the years, Ricardo has played in South Africa, Bulgaria, Oman, Ukraine, Italy, Myanmar, Slovenia, U.A.E and the U.K. Throughout his journey, Ricardo has played on the same line ups as Enrico Mantini, Tommy Vicari Junior, Junki, Diogo Lacerda, Isherwood, Avos, Georgio Oniani, Quest, Z@P, Voigtmann, Rhadoo, Barac, Praslea, Cezar, Priku, Vlad Caia, Cristi Cons, Ion Ludwig, Silverlining, Adam Shelton, Mandar, Sedee, Portable, Ivan Iacobucci, Lawrence, Ian.F and Karina. He also played an unofficial back to back with Dewalta, which lead to an invite to play at Club Der Visionare, Berlin (and then it set on fire, then covid…). Someday.

He is currently learning to produce his own music and has a string of opportunities to look forward to both domestically and internationally. Prior to the pandemic he was invited to play in the U.S., German, Luxembourg and Egypt and Taiwan. In addition to Italy, South Africa and Slovenia again. In the meantime, keep an ear out for one the many new podcasts he has been asked to record for a range of music events and projects internationally.
