From the melancholic for the melancholic, SEPARATOR sound like the introverted version of a post-apocalyptic road movie. Lending from the likes of Radiohead, Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens, the Berlin-based trio deliver the whole pallet - from soft guitar-voice duets like on their debut single "Sara" to heavy hitting electro-rock smashers as found in the finale of their latest single "The Last Ride". They're equally as invested in the craftsmanship of composition and recording as they are in the more subtle art of weaving an interconnected background of poetry, imagery and the occasional cross-reference into their work. Because of that, SEPARATOR is one of these artists in whose work you can completely immerse yourself into - their music will swallow you whole, starting with their debut EP "ARA" out on February 26th.
