Jennifer Spektor is a trans DJ, producer, artist, poet, and art therapist whose performances aim to foster communal, rhythmic experiences rooted in love. Hailing from the Chicago area and now based on the stolen land of the Coast Salish people in Seattle, her sets blend the emotional energy of underground dancefloors in Chicago, Detroit, and the UK with the cultural influences of her diasporic Jewish heritage, turntablism, and the oceanic landscape of her current home. She hosts the monthly radio show Echolocation on San Diego's Particle.fm. She is the founder of Collective Motion, a grassroots trans arts org.
