After a year of quiet introspection, Melbourne born and Byron based Seph Cove (Ben
Steiner) returns with his sophomore EP Unsafe Passage.
Bringing an earthiness to the ethereal folk that defined his debut release, there is a
self-awareness that has been brought to light. The first single from Unsafe Passage,
‘Sirens’ invites listeners on Seph’s journey of self. Following a sold-out launch, supporting
Budjerah and signing a publishing deal with the Raleigh Music Group, Seph Cove explored
his mind and his country over half a year. After taking lessons from solitude, conversation
and family, he is ready to give you more. Unsafe Passage was produced, mixed and
mastered by Seph’s good friend Tim Bettinson of Vancouver Sleep Clinic. Audio
engineering, as well as mixing credits, are shared by Luke Jenkins.

Seph Cove and previous project Ben Steiner have amassed over 1.25 million streams on
Spotify, sold-out shows in his hometown and an ever-growing international audience. Truly
a one-man-act, Steiner has achieved all of this without radio play, national touring or
previous PR support.
Ben continues to strive for more so that he can open his world to more people and create
strong and personal community connections.
