After the success of Cosmoba’s debut release ‘Lost In The System’, label owner Kalcagni returns with another 4 tracker of vibey electro and breaks.

Kicking off with ‘Mute Mode’, which channels deep house and acid influences, laced over chunky breaks and a warm analog bass. ‘Up Here (In The Head)’ follows up with another 303 workout, layered with infectious bass hooks and effected synth trills.

On the flip side, ’System Addict’ ups the BPM’s and flexes a more upfront electro groove, with beefy drums, gnarly melodic stabs and a twisted, resonant bassline. Whilst ‘Worn Out Version’ provides a more mellow and alternative vibe to close out the EP, with squelchy modular synth riffs and lush minor chords.

This time we have a special beautiful number from Quentin K from Prague for you. His mix convinces with a clear line between breakbeat, electro, acid and techno and takes you on a journey through his musical background. Dreamy breakbeats at the beginning followed by punchy bass weapons create a fantastic atomic sphere that won't let any connoisseur's leg stand still. This varied mix convinces with its selection created on point and perfectly meets our taste! 


Quentin K's  passion for music ignited at a tender age. With a father who immersed himself in melodies, the young individual found themselves surrounded by their dad's cherished assortment of records, dominated by the allure of French synth-pop. As life propelled them across different corners of the globe, he explored a diverse array of musical styles. However, it was within the vibrant ambiance of Prague that Quentin K discovered their devotion to house music, fueled by their acquisition of musical equipment.

As the pandemic came to an end, he started to visit a cultural space called Grid, here in Prague. They were hosting all kind of events including drawing classes, talks, exhibitions, and music performances. That’s where Quentin had his first few gigs, and organized events in 2022. In April, he started the summer 2023 season in April with 2 gigs at Prague’s famous Wildt bar.

This breakbeat, electro, acid, techno set is inspired by all the recent events that occurred in his life recently.
