Traffic Jam is the sound of being stuck in motion. Each track captures a different moment in the slow crawl of city life: the sleepy red light before sunrise, the jazz drifting from corner cafes, the sudden burst of color when the road finally opens, the strange beauty of steel and concrete humming together. Genres bend and blur like lanes merging at rush hour. Folk, disco, trip-hop, blues, and ambient textures move through the mix like passing headlights. Every song is a small cinematic window into the ordinary miracle of getting nowhere fast.

Crawling at a hypnotic 118 BPM, this version is a masterclass in minimalism and tension. It's built on a foundation of a deep, almost inaudible sub-bass rumble and a clean, punchy kick. What to expect from the new release of DJ and Brazilian producer @s_paniol? In all his works we hear the echoes of his sound search, his musical memory, which is a rusty big data fed by influences of classical music, Brazilian rhythms (carimbó, samba, regional music), as well as funk, soul music, jazz. and the huge cauldron formed by the sounds of the electronics drums and the sampled and synthesized tones. So we expect the enchantment!

And his ep "Sal e Sol" ("Salt and Sun") brings us this. The salt of the earth and the sun ligth burning the souls that walk on the ground. A rich metaphor that drives our auditory memory as we stroll through the sounds created by the aridity of the combination of salt and sun, laden with hope that beats and dance bring us. It gives us the opportunity to enjoy the warmth that takes care of body and soul. Paradoxically, or not, as he defines himself.
