Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

As sight came into both my eyes, a warm feeling filled me — like drinking hot tea on a cold day. I felt strength come into my arms and hands and legs and feet and my neck and head stretched for the first time. All the loud yells I had wanted to make now came rushing out of my mouth and I gave a huge roar that made the magistrate fall over. “It has come alive!” I heard him gasp and I heard the servants screaming, “Dragon! It has come alive! Dragon!” I knew this was my chance to free myself from Magistrate Tiger. I jumped from where I was and rushed over everyone, knocking down desks and chairs and columns. I saw the blue sky and green leaves through a window, went toward it, and simply crashed through the wall to get through. As I left, the building was falling down and all the people were yelling. “Dragon!” they screamed. “Dragon!”. Dare (RU) takes a slow deep dive into traditions. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks can increase the level of kindness. Hoani Teano, Jon Sweetname, Menori and Unja float with the wind these modular days.

Hey Friends!

A while ago I decided that I want to release not only downtempo music but basically all of the music I’m creating. These days there is a lot of talk about “branding” and “not releasing outside of your genre” because some people say you have to be clear about what you are selling. In other words: “be a good product”.  But screw that!!!
So here we are.. I made an Hip Hop Instrumental “mixtape”  that is completely based on sampling. That is actually the music I started out with 15 years ago. It was a beautiful experience and somewhat relaxing to get back to those production teqniques and those very simple arrangements. All of those songs represent very short snippets in time and only try to capture one simple mood without going out of its way to do so. If you are looking for complex sound design or surprising arrangements you won’t find that in this release. It’s only crackling and humming simple moody beat!
For the first 5 days you will find the Songs on Bandcamp only. Btw, if you really want to support an artist band camp is the best way to do so. May 21st the release will go online on all other streaming platforms. 
Speaking of may 21st.. that’s the birthday of @toolime who made the wonderful cover for this release so don’t forget to gratulate him!

So if you’re looking for some relaxed beats you can listen to at Sunday morning breakfast with the fam I got you covered!
