Joppe Tanghe (Ghent, BE) continues to share stories of life. Defining moments of joy or despair find their way to his music, resulting in compelling tales. In "Far Away", Joppe croons about the loss of mental awareness, how Alzheimer's touches his loved ones and how it looms over life. 
This plays against a backdrop of sparse electronic beats that slowly get replaced by a gradually growing orchestra, until only the orchestra remains. Much like the thoughts of here and now, of past and present making way for a stream of the unknown and uncertainty.

"You look familiar in the end"... Leave it to Joppe to keep a positive view - against sometimes overwhelming odds, in music ànd in life.

cardso é o trabalho sonoro de Lucas Cardoso, seu projeto apresenta colagens de sons produzidos por nós na Terra e loops musicais desenvolvidos por ele. 

Nas batidas e nas melodias existe um flerte entre o Techno e o IDM, que também se envolvem com elementos mais abstratos, esses elementos surgem durante a pesquisa de sons em seu processo criativo e constituem uma ponte entre os loops e as colagens. 

Nesse EP de lançamento, que é composto por 5 músicas (uma delas produzida com helena9999) , cardso utiliza a colagem como ferramenta de criação visual e sonora a partir de uma reflexão sobre a sobrecarga criativa e de informação que vivemos. 


English: cardso is the sound work of Lucas Cardoso, your project features collages of sounds produced by us on Earth and musical loops developed by him. 

In the beats and the melodies there is a flirtation between Techno and IDM, which also involve more abstract elements, these elements arise during the research sounds in his creative process and constitute a bridge between the loops and collages. 

This first EP, which is composed of 5 songs (one produced with helena9999) cardso uses collage as a visual and sound creation tool from a reflection on the creative overload and information which we live.
