Inside the cardamom capsule are the seeds, that give it its characteristic taste; mainly volatile oils that taste a bit like eucalyptus. When put in coffee, they create ever-changing oily textures on it’s surface. It makes the coffee more digestible and neutralizes the caffeine. It tastes a bit paradox. But eventually the taste becomes something else. A special blend that is neither the one nor the other.

ele & bīsu’s music goes back to studio sessions fueled by cardamom coffee. It’s preparation has been a steady ritual that accompanied the making of the EP. It is the random seeming details and procedures like this that form artistic processes and inspiration. Some day, they might even become an image for a type of experience greater than the individual memory.

Summer is flying by and it's time for our next compilation again. This time we have put together a large selection of artists for you whose sound we have been liking lately.

Downtempo is a very diverse music genre with many different styles and directions. As always, we want to address all these influences we like with our compilation and bring them under one roof. So there should be something for everyone on this release, whether to chill out on an open air or inside in the fog of the night.

We are very grateful to have represented so many different and talented musicians on our label and we would like to thank all artists involved. Especially our Mastering Engineer Haunted Water & Kilian Van De Water for the gorgeous Artwork again.

We are back with some new music. This time our friend Katabtu has conjured up something that we do not want to withhold from you. After he was already represented on one of our compilations some years ago, it is now time to add some more juice.

The result are two deep and dark tracks that fit perfectly into the colder season of the year. You can expect rolling baselines, powerful synthesizers and hypnotic arpeggiator sounds, which will catapult you into another dimension. Make sure to turn it up loud enough so that the full power of the lower frequencies can hit your stomach.

In addition, there are elegant remixes by Manucho, Narcisse (Mex) and Anselmus, who is featured on our imprint for the first time. Without our artists in the background, this release would not have been possible. Therefore, a big thank you goes out to Kilian Van De Water for the terrific artwork and to Haunted Water for the crisp mastering.

Hamburg‘s Ryan Haeng is debuting on Heimlich Musik for the label‘s 22nd release, marking the producer‘s first-ever full-length EP. Get ready for five massive 
original cuts, plus remixes by Metatext & Karhua, Zoe Reijue, and Heimlich Musik 
veteran AVEM. 
The original cuts come with punchy bass drums and lurking basslines, giving new 
meaning to the word ‚dark‘. On the top end of the sonic spectrum, Ryan Haeng

The Scumfrog on his new song Tiny Little Human: “"Sure, my quarantine is very comfortable and spacious, but it does evoke thoughts and emotions that I see resonate around me. It addresses how much I have taken for granted the value of basic touch in my daily life. I sense that many people around me are struggling with the sudden absence of human touch. I hope we can remember this frustration when it is once again ok to mingle, and to appreciate the value of a basic hug. We, as humans, made it to the top of the food chain. The remixes on this stellar package come from Australian production outfit @theoddness (delivering two funky downtempo mixes), U.S. producer @pezzner with a stripped-down haunting mix, and the emerging art collective Voodoo Porn Space Disco delivering a chugging feel-good House anthem.

The video of the song is currently in post-production, and consist of a fan-sourced collection of ‘Legotography’, where the assignment was to photograph a single Lego minifigure in a real-world setting depicting isolation and quarantine. The video is edited together by legendary film and video editor Bob Jenkis (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Chris Isaak)
