Um set criado de um espaço de busca interior por momentos de alegria e leveza, também de aceitação daquilo que precisa ir dando espaço para o novo chegar, assim como o Outono representa tão bem com suas folhas que caem. 

Muitas vezes passamos por momentos onde há relações que precisam se afastar, projetos que não fazem mais sentido, mudanças internas, externas, novos ventos, novas perspectivas ou narrativas, e nossa tendência normal e totalmente humana é se apegar e sofrer ao resistir ao que a natureza nos diz que precisa ir,  mas a músicas, a arte, tem esse poder de nos convidar a transcender  e aceitar  ao mesmo tempo que nos convida a resistir … mas resistir ao continuar acreditando em si, ter paciência, resistir para não desistir de encontrar espaços férteis e seguros seja para se nutrir, para descansar e então prosperar., mas primeiro é preciso sentir.

Com uma construção que começa com a poesia de Maya Luna, intensa e questionadora sobre “sobre quem sou eu “ , a escolha musical é feita para rir e chorar se preciso, depois elevando o Bpm para soltar e dançar, passando por estilos afro, tribais, latinos e finalizando com uma música que tocou minha alma por conta do atual momento que passo em minha vida. 
Espero que toque a alma de vocês também.

E para trazer mais magia para o  movimento e também a transformação dos pensamentos e desejos em arte , foi feito o convite para que a Elizabeth Tecchio fizesse algo com o Yoga que pudesse acompanhar o set, para inserir esse rezo necessário ao nosso corpo, um estilo de yoga dance, algo que se integrasse de uma forma harmoniosa e natural, assim como é a nossa amizade que fala tanto pelo olhar, eu agradeço imensamente essa troca sincera e corajosa de realizar isso junto comigo proporcionando ao mundo algo novo também.

Agradeço a todos que fizeram parte, de coração, meu amado Marco pela ajuda também com áudios e edição.

Anna Amelia, Caroline Dias, Tais , Kobi , Martin, que bom compartilhar dessa vida com vocês e viver momentos como esse.

04’ Series Mixtapes - Part One: Green Mix

In 2003, Pendulum’s Vault dropped, and soon after, the boys were whisked away to London by DJ Fresh, marking the birth of a fresh new breakbeat Drum and Bass sound. By 2004, this sound had taken over, blending funky breakbeats, infectious basslines, and a poppier, more accessible energy that reshaped the scene. This mixtape series is inspired by DJ Fresh, Adam F, their Breakbeat Kaos label, and the greatest times on the scene during those formative years.
The Green Mix is a celebration of that golden era, filled with breakbeat DnB, liquid vibes, and rollers from 2004-2005, along with a few later tracks that capture the same spirit. It's all about the groove—playful, uplifting, and designed to keep you moving without getting too heavy. The mix embodies the fun, melodic side of Drum and Bass, where the beats were funky, the basslines infectious, and the vibe was always light-hearted.
Stay tuned for the Orange Mix and Red Mix, where we dive deeper into the 2004-05 breakbeat Drum and Bass era, building intensity and exploring the evolution of the sound.

04' Series Mixtapes - Part 2: Orange Mix

The early 2000s saw drum and bass expanding its reach, evolving into subgenres like jump-up, liquid funk, and techstep. By 2004, breakbeat jump-up and jungle were deeply rooted in the scene and the parties were a vibe.
This mix features artists like Dillinja, DJ Fresh, Adam F, Subfocus, Roni Size and Shy FX. As the series moves toward the Red Mix, which will feature some of the biggest anthems of the time, Orange Mix Part 2 amps up the vibe, teasing the full-throttle bangers to come. Expect an evolving journey of thick basslines and intricate drum breaks that echo the spirit of early 2000s rave culture.

Wednesday morning was something else. DJ Tennis curated a full day of back-to-back sets on the Robot Heart bus, calling it Tennis Doubles. The highlight was the sunrise set with Simon, aka Bonobo. It was Simon’s first Burn and the rest is history. 🎾🌞❤️

In DJ Tennis’ words, “Robot Heart is family. When they asked me to curate the Wednesday lineup, I knew I had to bring Simon for his first Burn. That sunrise was pure magic playing side by side with an artist I deeply admire, as the desert came alive, felt like it was always meant to be. After more than a decade here, the Burn still takes my breath away like no other place.”
