As I believe I passed my master's exams and relaxing times have come to me this week, I decided to record something I've been thinking about for a while... Not very fancy and relying a little too much on major tonalities but I like it nonetheless!

Hope you enjoy it and I would probably be uploading some other ideas to reactivate this account!

PS: I forgot something important! I'm using a Casio Px-5s and I can't be more delighted, truly beautiful sounds at the top of my fingers! Everything you heard is just me playing, no 'effects' other than a sustaining pedal!

Childish on something Major (volume a little down I think)

An idea I've been thinking about for some time but haven't made any improvements. I haven't thought of something to follow it up but I prefer uploading something better than nothing.

As usual, there're tonality changes although this time is only for extending the already short pattern.

I haven't uploading as much as I wish, even months after its purchase, I keep finding new and exciting things about this keyboard (Casio Privia Pro Px-5s) and I can't recommend it enough to any piano/synth player out there. It's great at a piano and a synth instrument. It's just a real pleasure to play it, something that cannot be said about some acoustic pianos, unfortunately.

I hope I'll upload more stuff as I have a few more little ideas. Please, excuse the excessive foot pedal, currently it's and on/off thing and I'm not used to it.

Back & Forth (Idea)

Another idea I've been playing and just neede to record. Probably others would be more "synth" orientated, as I have not explored this keyboard as much as I would like.

That would take me a lot more time than this but hope it would be worth it. Meanwhile, enjoy! Any comments are much appreciated!

One of the most memorable tracks on a franchise that basically died because of dinosaurs. I didn't do much other than a couple of effects that would probably regret.

Corneria (Star Fox cover)

Indeed it's been a while but I've been busy with studies and with music as well. Probably the music sounds pretty much like other songs before but at least now I am a little more comfortable with where it comes from.

Also, I'm getting less nervous with drums, mixing and mastering in general. Please, any constructive comments in any regard would be much appreciated.

I have other ideas that hopefully would interest anyone for a videogame soundtrack but I'll guess I'll keep uploading stuff for a while just to get some practice.

The image has to do with one of the sounds I used. IPad music apps are actually not that bad, specially for its price.

Forest (Oh boy, it's been a while)

This is my first song made 100% with an iPad as a sound engine/DAW, etc. The sounds are not that bad but definitely got better ones back at home... 

Since I'm not getting there in a while, I better get used to working like this. I actually enjoyed it, it has its good and bad things.

Boss Fight

As usual, I've had talked numerous times with the drummer but trust me, he's trying his best.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. I think there are some sounds getting way too lost in the mix, but I did try to make everything work at the same time.

This in an "all iPad" one, by the way, so don't expect good samples.

I've been playing some of these ideas quite a while and finally with a new toy at my disposal, I decided to upload this.

I really hope I start uploading content more frequently. A lot of it depends on me not be the procrastinating bastard I usually am...

Some minor ideas

I'd like to thank Ptero for some advice regarding mixing (although any mess up is entirely my fault) as I'm still figuring this thing out.

Some instruments came out with too much echo and I'm aware of this, some were intended and some not. I tried my best on the drums, still having a hard time with fills and rythm. Hope you enjoy listening as much as I did recording it!

The Cycling Theme

Currently in France from México for a PhD!

I encourage anybody who likes music to make a good effort and do something on their own. It's an amazing journey everybody should experiment at least once! Give it some time. Whatever is put as a final work most of the time doesn't represent what somebody had to go through to get there, and that doesn't necessarily involve a tortous process, in fact it is exactly the opposite. In my opinion, anything that is worth mastering requires time, technique and perseverance, the rest will come naturally.

Anyway, I started to play the piano some time ago and to keep myself motivated I decided to make at least one song from scratch. This is something in which I definitely would spend all my life doing but for that I'll need to earn some money with this and currently I don't see how.

I'll try to avoid putting titles to the songs that predispose what they make you feel, if they make you feel anything of course. I think it's better to let the listener get inspired by him/herself.
