This 54-minute high-energy “Domain Madeus: Mix A” rolls through 30 tracks, with each arranged and connected by either vocals, sound profiles, or rhythms to render an experience of being with me on a journey through the underground. This mix encapsulates the A side of my favorite techno genres and sounds. The clips here include 3 fun little mashup moments and some of my favorites from the selection. The essences of the mix are playfulness💊🫠🤪,  texture🧈🍮🍦, grooves🌴🦩🍍, deep 🛰️🚀☄️, and (ofc 😉) some Dong Dong Dong💥

Domain Madeus: Mix A

Mix B is a creation that profoundly embodies my soundscape and personality, featuring two of the most influential techno variants for me: electro punk 💿📼and industrial ⚒️🏗️, which serve as the core pillars of the mix, accompanied by, if I may say so 😉, perfect amount of metal 🎸🤘🏼.  As per my modus operandi, the selection of Mix B is meticulously designed to create a trip to the B-side of my sonic domain characterized by dystopia 🦾🌆🦿, cyberpunk 💽🤖🎮, and rawness 🗡️🩸🔨 . 

Mix B pays homage to the origins of techno, blending electro and breakbeats with robust kicks, emulative to the pioneering methods of the Belleville Three when they created the first wave of Techno in 1980s Detroit. Personally, I find industrial sounds the most soulful and evoke the most emotions. I believe that industrial sounds epitomize the techno genre, encapsulating the essence and ethos of the industrial age — an era emblematic of Detroit’s legacy 💙 and the birth of techno. 

Here, I would like to emphasize my firm belief that industrial techno should not be equated with exceedingly high BPMs. Industrial techno is a soundscape characterized by its hard, dark, and mechanical sounds. Adhering to this principle, I have strictly maintained this mix's BPM within the mid-high 140s, with 147 as the upper limit.

Mix B concludes my first mixing project — two “My Styles” mixes that showcase my mixing style and eclectic range of sounds in techno 🎚️🎛️🎚️

Raw and Rare

"Memories of Oblivion " weaves together three sonic pillars: Electro & Electropunk 🤖, Industrial Techno ⛓️, and Post-Punk Coldwave 🎤— a powerful 🔺TRINITY🔺 that, to me, evokes the deepest resonance and atmosphere. To me, these genres share common traits, particularly their emphasis on low-end frequencies and textured synths 🎚️🎛️🎚️, creating a soundscape that’s both RAW and IMMERSIVE.

Schranz assists here as well 😜, adding a even rawer edge to the mix.

I experimented with A WIDE BPM RANGE, blending tracks in unexpected ways, and I’m thrilled with the result 🤓 

The narrative behind this mix envisions a post-apocalyptic reflection of humanity 🌫️, viewed from the VAST SILENCE OF SPACE 🛰️ after NUCLEAR FALLOUT ☢️ —a scenario that haunts my mind.

At its core, this mix channels a personal belief in the urgent need to OVERTHROW THE OPPRESSIVE SYSTEM THAT BIND US 🔫💪🏼 As the vocal at 13:18 declares, “IT'S TIME TO START A REVOLUTION.” ✊🏼
Through this journey, I hope to immerse you in a soundscape of HOLLOWNESS, TRANSCENDENCE, and, ultimately, HOPE 🤲🏼

Because as the beautiful lines in the intro goes: 

Le temps n’a pas d’emprise sur nous⏳

The storyline of this mix is very straightforward ✍🏼📚: 

Once upon a time, you decided to take a tab 🫠 and drink some yumilicious guava🧃 juice somewhere in the tropics 🍍

Suddenly, you went into a trance 😵‍💫 and a haunting, resonant chant woke you up 🔔

When you opened your eyes, all you could see was boundless, untouched snow ❄️ 

You wanted to move but you could not feel a physical presence of your body 😶‍🌫️ — it is at this moment that you realized that you are nothing but a thought inside a computer 🧠🖥️

With this realization, another wave of perceptually primal chants summoned you to rise, suddenly restoring your physical strength 🧍‍♀️

You then heard some very nice Pulsar Drums and began to be able to interpret the meaning behind the seemingly non-verbal chants, revealing a crucial message: YOU’RE DREAMING INSIDE A SIMULATION, AND THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPTED. IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP!!!" ‼️🚨⏰

You started to dance hysterically, fueled by pure joy and boundless energy, unable to stop — can’t stop, Can’t Stop, CAN’T STOP!!! 💃🕺

Suddenly, you were drawn into a deep vortex of swirling codes. When your vision cleared, you found yourself standing in front of a dacha and somehow people were having a village orgy 🛖🤷‍♀️

Someone grabbed your hand, causing you to flinch slightly. You turned around and realized you were sitting in your room, with the tones of throat-singing songs blaring on the radio 📻 

Certain elements of the storyline above are inspired by true events 😁

As the title suggests, this mix is the second installment following "Took a Tab in the Tropics, Woke Up in the Arctics." This time, the rhythmic journey begins with a return to reality-to the tropics, specifically Miami-immersing itself in a techno soundscape that, to me, defines the city: a fusion of polyrhythmic structures 👟, tribal rhythms 🐍🌿🦜, organic textures 🎛️, deep grooves 🪩, and relentless energy🔋
