The first in a series of various artists to be released by Details Sound - The Spirit Of The Age Vol. 1 is a personal attempt to represent " the spirit " of this moment, an eye on the sea, where the initial intention of powerful and dynamic body music is changing, leaving room for a
more contemplative and reflective way of dancing, where large places give space to the little ones, taking back the original spirit of being together. On the A side, Anatolian Weapons opens with A Series Of Changes - a progression of looped vocals and acidic basslines that culminate in a full, liberating rhythm. Following A Hand Modern Cage focuses on a more hypnotic and evocative soundtrack that can perfectly match an atmospheric opening. On the flip
Gamma Intel ’s Note To My Love deliver a mix of broken and electro rhythms that are part of the artist signature sound, ending with an intricate weave of melodic basslines. The last track Dense And Ragged is signed by the renowned london-based duo Vactrol Park

With Hand to Hand VA we want to draw public attention to this problem and provide assistance to organizations involved in helping people faced with arbitrariness. All proceeds from the VA will be split equally between the Russian human rights organizations: Mediazona (an independent media platform focused on the judiciary, law enforcement and penal system in Russia founded by Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova) and OVD-Info (an independent human rights media project aimed at combating political persecution).

The square was vast and wide, only a handful of people were strolling around in the cold, harsh morning air. The myriad of shops bordering the cobbles were beginning to open; awnings out and signs propped front, right and centre, advertising all manner of trinkets, treasures and memorabilia. Soon the place would be brimming with visitors from near and far, all looking for something unique to bring back home with them - for a piece of this place, a memory of a time well spent. 

After their first split-format EP with Anatolian Weapons and LINJA back in 2021, Russian imprint Serenades are returning for another, and this time its Dolphins and Odopt sharing the wax. Continuing the series' mission to connect artists from different places around the world, the release features two tracks from the project of Benedikt Frey, Markus Woernle & Nadia D'Alò as Dolphins and Grigory Nelyubin & Ivan Maslov as Odopt. Strains of downtempo, leftfield and psychedelia all interweave: there's music for losing yourself and forgetting your worries on the dance floor, and there's also sounds for introspection and deep listening.

Panka Panka is a project devised by Miguel Blanco and Xarlie, from Gameboyz, two thinking heads each with different backgrounds and experiences. Different tastes and ideas but all of them coincide in the unlimited passion they have for music, as long as it is interesting. From techno to electro, going through more experimental material.

They have produced on labels like Melomana Records or Logical Records, they have published mixes on labels like Disco Suicide, Chromatic Club, Feed your head, Sxdns or Honest allies managing to stabilize on a unique terrain, at a time when it is increasingly difficult to sound different, not to mention original or inspiring.

Musically it is characterized by a daring and careful fusion where the melodies and instruments manage to transport us to places where the same can be low temperatures, warmth or suffocation. Panka Panka's technique and knowledge give his productions a unique style influenced by more than a decade, especially those where "rave" culture and more "underground" aspects have been a modus vivendi.

This duo with base of operations in Badajoz, offers us a musical excursion that is based on kindness, evocative soundscapes and experimentation with the most current, intelligent, elegant and subtle dance electronics. The organic and the melodic come together creating delicate soundtracks. Melancholy and suggestion, irony and ease. Atmospheres and warmth. Music to dance without leaving the place.

Premiere : Umbra - Cruise To The Moon In A Hot Air Balloon [Hard Fist]

The 'Sail We Must' EP by Irish producer Signa Rust draws inspiration from Alfos, reflecting a mutual appreciation for slower-paced sounds around the 100/110bpm mark. Crafted primarily with analog gear, it's a track that embodies hope and is dedicated to Signa's late father. The saying "fail we may, sail we must," an old fisherman's adage, resonates throughout the work, honoring his lifelong career in the industry. The opening track unfolds with a 303 and a uniquely twisted synth arp, then shifts gears with the introduction of strings, infusing the piece with a sense of hope and serene joy. '13.0 TeV' begins with the characteristic 808 percussion sounds, mingled with dubby samples that create a Rastafarian ambiance, followed closely by the 303's simmering acidity, before escalating with a distorted pad sequence. The EP concludes with Will Flisk's remix of '13.0 TeV'.

A rave, on the other hand, is a burst of collective energy, a place where sound and movement collide in a chaotic dance of freedom. But both are escapes, sanctuaries in their own right. The cave shelters you from the outside world, while the rave breaks down the walls within. In both, you're led by the echoes-whether they're the natural hum of the earth or the pulse of the bass-each guiding you deeper into yourself, revealing hidden layers you didn't know existed. It's about losing and finding yourself in the darkness, whether under the ground or beneath the flashing lights.

Protecting the past by projecting it into the future, preserving identities, making generations talk to each other and, above all, saving the enormous intangible cultural heritage of the island of Procida from extinction. 
"Procida Ritual Project" is not the romantic and visionary idea of ​​an island anchored to its roots, but a convinced path, intended to give new life to the Procidan community ritual celebrations sounds.

Tradition is a fundamental word to fully understand one of the most important musical projects of the entire Procida Capital of Culture 2022 program. A multifaceted and multiform journey, which holds together notes and words, sounds and research.

Key of th project is a database of “field-recordings” 
The heart of the research are the famous rites of Holy Week and the Procession of the Mysteries: a real mine of identity made up of symbols that advance on the traces of centuries-old echoes. 
Ancient matrices that will remain recognizable, while giving life to suggestive paths of authorial reworking in an electronic key and with the contribution of important multi-instrumentalists. 
Another source of inspiration is the "Menerio", a large peasant bonfire that the people of Procida lit, ideally greeting the beginning of spring. A purification rite which in the past was introduced by invocations and drum rolls and which PRP brings back to life. 
In "Ritual" the devotional songs dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie resound, which the faithful sing in the month of July: a sort of dialectal rosary with ancestral sounds and tones. And again, suggestions for the construction of this project come from the dialectal novena which, at the end of October, on the long eve of the celebration of the dead, the faithful usually sing in a collective rite born to exorcise death.

After releasing my first EP "Stars&" in march of last year, I got so many kind words and positive feedback, it’s definitely helped me feel more safe and secure about writing, finishing and sharing my music with you guys. This particular EP includes some new tracks, a couple of recycled ideas and some special ones that somehow clicked and connected with each other. I dove deeper into 90s samples, YouTube rips, my favorite VSTs, plus hardware to keep shaping and developing my personal sound. Maria works as a printing technician in a photo lab and Luís works as a website programmer moreover both devote much of their non-working hours to music and photography. From this dedicated and parallel passion started the will to make it alive somehow and, consequently,it had been growing faster particularly since the recent adventure of the duo in Germany in 2016. Such a journey is the starting point of this plot. On his return to the Portuguese lands, eager for information; an effervescent and inspiring will to investigate and absorb settled in the duo. They are in need of a call to go through other times, other peoples; which have completely overwhelmed them.

Originally from France, Laurence moved to Brasil 10 years ago and since then has been involved in the Voodoohop collective. A Macaca (literally the female Monkey) emerged during the Voodoohop Party as a performing entity that toys with contradiction and expectation.
Her identity is in constant mutation, playfully transforming between animal and human, masculine and feminine. Blurring the boundaries between public and performer, she connects with her surroundings by dancing, feeding the floor as if it were a big fire, the music; the wood found on her path and her mixing; a way to adjust the intensity of the flames. Her mix oscillates between tension and release, surfing on the waves of harmonies and hormones.

Serenades Edit #15 - Lem's - Don't Kill The Elephants (Running Hot Edit)

The Futurists rejected tradition and introduced experimental sounds , and this fact, that influenced a lot of composers during the 20th century, helped them to build a concept that started the career of Barcelona based duo Iro Aka. The evolution of their music started with this EP, fluctuating through psychedelic and esoteric influences, taking as its main references the continuous technological evolution and those new techniques to make electronic music. “Futur” is an extract of the first ideas of Iro Aka. They started the project at the beginning of the 2017 and then this EP was produced then, showing the abstraction that they felt at that moment, a path drawn by different sounds that came from different people and different places.

Tapan leaves their mark on Zukunft with reimagining the original as a slowly building, tribal inspired and almost sitting in an alternative timeline. Clever use of percussive elements does not take away from the track being playable in the club.

The slightly psychedelic dance floor experience is delivered by Anatolian Weapons. Pulsating rhythms intertwine with classic drum sounds and paint a mood almost contradicting the vocals of the track. Perfect secret track for any dance-floor.
