absolutely on music is Torture the Artist's monthly radio show broadcasted live from the Übel & Gefährlich in Hamburg, Germany for their community radio station [sic]nal. Recommended by Telekom Electronic Beats absolutely on music is hosted by Torture the Artist head Holger Breuer and Marc Wolf, a project affiliate and co-club owner of Luna, a cultural and nightlife institution in Kiel. The first hour of absolutely on music, which is nominally referring to Haruki Murakami’s eponymous work, is either dedicated to upcoming, trending or outstanding music releases or a deeply personal and intimate conversation with changing guests about their music and further related topics. The show culminates in DJ-sets from Holger and Marc’s guests and the host themselves, taking the listeners on a journey through the curators’ most recent findings thereby switching between various genres such as House, Breaks, Acid or whatever’s found its way on the turntables respectively on their USBs. Having heard one of the shows it becomes obvious that Marc and Holger as well as their guests do not just love music, they know music and do not hold back to pass on their stock in a humorous manner to their listener and curate highly emotive sets to release them into the night or whenever and wherever one tunes in.

HOLIDAYS

Bosse Faust is a native of Hamburg and the founder of the Copenhagen collective "Raveshalvøen". His love of music began when he heard Techno music from a passing car at the age of 8. He asked his father about the genre, and he only answered: "Unz unz music". Since then, Bosse collected music and was already considered the DJ in his circle of friends as the one often responsible for the music.

His travels to Africa, America, Asia, and New Zealand further inspired his musical tastes and since 2019 he has played a variance of different sub-genres of Melodic Techno behind the decks. His diverse musical tastes allow him to cater to the mood of the audience and adapt the music to suit them. Ethereal Techno, Afro House, Dark Disco, and Dark Techno are the most common areas he moves in.

In 2020, Bosse made his debut in Denmark at Lulu Land's boat parties "Sunset Cruises" and after playing at more events, he hosted his first own event in Copenhagen at the end of 2021 known as Raveshalvøen. In March 2022, he made his club debut at Culture Box and Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen. Immediately after that, things took off in Hamburg where he played at Club Frau Holle.

Free Shelter is a collective and label, hailing from the cold breezes of Helsinki, Finland. Their main goal is to find, play and share obscure music from the deep beyond. Whether it be feel-good disco from the jungles around the world, rolling trancey bass lines or pumping house from the east coast of the US, it doesn’t matter. With several edits and own productions released on their own imprint under their belt, and support from world known DJs, they aren’t slowing down just yet.
