Released on my own label, With A Little Help Of A Friend Records, this concept EP was created entirely from my bicycle using AI. Inspired by cycling around the world, the motion, rhythm, and atmosphere of the journey are captured throughout the tracks. The culture of cycling—from the 90s to today—served as a major muse, merged with electronic sounds influenced by many of my favorite musicians. The result is a fusion of inspirations reflecting both the landscapes traveled and the evolving sonic ideas along the way.

The Hessle-head has turned in a typically hulking, mechanical rework of the band's new single and in the process turned the buoyancy of the original on its head. Put another way, it sounds a bit like blending iron filings into a strawberry milkshake.

Wetman introduces a new alias with this release entitled “Here” which is an intro into his experimentalist style of dubstep. In fact to call it that would be a disservice, as Wetman masterfully blurs genres and styles, bringing influences of roots dub, bass, breakbeat, funky, tribal and jungle all to the tempo of 140 bpm.

"I could not be more excited to share my latest musical creation with intentions to support the Black Lives Matter movement and highlight the fact that dance music history is black. I curated this mix of tracks from all black artists to commemorate black musicians and celebrate their massive impact on the music we dance to. I aim to shine light on the fact that all of the genres I included ~ house, disco, techno, electro & breakbeats ~ were pioneered by black producers such as Juan Atkins, Frankie Knuckles and Derrick May (you can find a brief overview of the history of dance music on my last post). I would love for listeners to enjoy the array of tunes while celebrating the impact each of these artists had on dance music over the last 40 years. To support these artists, we have included a tracklist with links to buy each song!

Bass Coast Music returns with 12 Days Vol. 4, an annual compilation featuring 13 tracks by festival alumni. Beginning Dec 14th, one track a day will be released culminating in the full album release on Dec 25th.
