LA’s Warehouse Preservation Society cue up a suitably low slung and sophisticated release for Dave Harvey’s well established Futureboogie imprint. Dave Aju (Circus Company/Mule Musiq) completes the release with a proper tasty remix.

Comprising Travis ‘TK’ Kirschbaum & Tavish Graham, Warehouse Preservation Society have released cuts on Rogue Cat Records and Machine Limited, worked with such esteemed artists as Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca, Newborn JR, DJ Garth & Anthony Mansfield, and Paramida’s Love On The Rocks label as well as landing a spot on DJ Harvey's "The Sound Of Mercury Rising Vol II" Pikes compilation.

On this occasion Soos and NetterSystem deliver us a five song EP full of mist and 90s vibes. From the beginning this work takes us back to a party set decades ago in which breakbeat, techno and the jungle converge generating a series of sensations that are extrapolated. Digital and analog elements are mixed in the same timeline that in the end they reach the same conclusion: move the body.

As the tracks progress, the haze and white noise fill the imaginary space of our mind. Elements of bands like Spiritualized and many vocal samples fill the atmosphere throughout the tracks creating a well-being and at the same time an explosion of energy that causes you to move your body.
On the other hand, it is worth noting the maturity and the way in which sounds are handled in this work. In some parts it feels like being in the lobby of a European hotel: melancholic sounds that take time to mature in a very short amount of time. It's super enriching to hear layers and layers of sound that fall perfectly into place. In some parts the same melancholy takes us back to that time when the city of Leeds and Nightmares on Wax dominated the slopes. On the other hand, Latin America feels very present in the core of this EP.
Without a doubt, a work full of surprises and sounds that are not easily found.

The sound of the mini-album is not easy to describe - it combines Lithuanian poetry-like lyrics with electronic and percussive rhythms, synthesised sounds, guitars, strings and brass instruments. The multi-layered nature of the works reveals the artist's transformation and pursuit of a unique sonic identity, inspired by her lifelong musical influences.

Everything around seemed somehow strange, the trees had strange shapes, the grass was some kind of unnaturally rusty red, the sky had a poisonous-violet hue, the sounds did not lag behind of that he saw, some kind of half-acid birdsinging , the rustle of grass was somehow metallic, and then he remembered where he was, and get  horrified - is this really true? and a gust of wind flying past “whispered” to him with a sort of destructively grating sound - “yes my friend, welcome to Sucksonia". 
German futuristic label Rat Life for its seventeenth reference invites  two EBM warriors from Leipzig - Westlake & Hayter with their debut EP "Sucksonia". PREMIERE #668 | Westlake & Hayter - Sucksonia [Rat Life] 2019

For this second opus, we continue our momentum and we're offering a various artists composed of 4 tracks.

The EP opens on the track " Prendre l'Air " by Vitess. We find the signature of the young producer with a neat and precise production, all enhanced by a millimetric breakbeat and an airy atmosphere, backed by an acid lead.The second track is produced by Pépé Elle who offers here a one-way ticket to England with his UKG infused "Carbon Dance" track. We find all the markers of the style, from syncopated rhythmics to powerful wobble bass. Perfect to turn a club upside down on any circumstance.

The Italians from MDC open the B side with the track Bouncing. The atmosphere gets darker and sweatier. We find grimmy vocals, a heady and efficient acid bassline. The Ep closes on the track The Resistance by Wilt. We continue to evolve in darker atmospheres with a tension that is created throughout the track without ever failing, all supported by a powerful breakbeat that will leave no one intact.
