Joshua Jesse delivers four songs that could not be more different. He teamed up with his closest producer buddys Midas 104, Paul Schal and coss. The title Hommage is a dedication to the musical connection between two people.
This happens all the time you doing music with another human being. Everybody can empathize this feeling and has experienced it  while singing or drumming together.

Deeply rooted in classic hip-hop, funk and boogie, Kiev-based beatmaker Pahatam didn’t mind selling his everything back in the days in order to afford his first Roland drum-machine. Addicted to vinyl, he believes that dissonance is what makes music beautiful and puts groove and atmosphere in the first place. Experiments led him to producing raw house and academic techno and he doesn’t seem to stop exploring.

The full CD features 9 remixes produced by Klik Records artists and guests such as Hiroshi Watanabe, Scsi -9, Siopis, Vince Watson, Nhar, Alex Dimou, Lee Burton, Nikos Diamantopoulos and Sunset Blvd. The remixers worked on past, present and future classic Klik Records tracks.

This is a sound collage (Robot Bennett speciality) based on the 1971 Can hit "Spoon". One of the very first songs to combine live drumming (the virtuosity of Jaki Liebezeit) with a drum machine. Ungeahnt vielschichtig mit seinem debutalbum “frères” zeigt der zürcher musiker und produzent Nicola Noir erneut, dass elektronische alben nicht eintönig sein müssen. Ob wave disco, jazzig bis hin zu rockigen elementen ist alles im neuenalbum enthalten - nach der einzigen regel, dass es keine regeln geben soll. seine inspiration sammelt er an unterschiedlichsten orten. so wurde er zum beispiel für seinen song „la grande bellezza“ von paolo sorrentinos gleichnamigen arthouse meisterwerk beeinflusst.

Egal, woher Nicola Noir seine inspiration holt, in jedem einzelnen stück ist seine eigenwillige und deepe handschrift klar erkennbar. die rhythmen des jungen künstlers führen direkt in aufregend schwebende zustände wie im stück „cysero“ oder in treibend erdige beats wie bei „wolfes“.

Auffallend ist, dass jeder track eine ganz eigene geschichte erzählt und sich gleichzeitig davor scheut, einen rein kommerziellen clubhit zu erzeugen. so eignen sich die stücke perfekt für das intro und outro eines vielschichtigen und verrückten sets.

Incredibly complex with his debut album "frères" the Zurich based musician and producer Nicola Noir shows that electronic LP’s don't have to be monotonous. whether wave disco, jazzy up to to rock elements, everything is included in the new album - no rules is the rule. noir collects his inspiration at various locations. the song "la grande bellezza" for example was inspired by paolo sorrentino's arthouse masterpiece of the same name. no matter where nicola noir gets his inspiration from, in every single piece his unconventional and deep handwriting is clearly recognizable. 

The rhythms of the young artist lead directly into excitingly floating states as in the track "cysero" or in impulsive earthy beats like "wolves"
it is noticeable that each track tells a story of its own and at is not to create a purely commercial club hit at the same time. the pieces are perfect for intros and outros of multi-layered and crazy sets.

A mysterious 4-track EP, accompanied by 3 lovely and wildly intoxicating remixes. Mexican trip advisor Isaac Soto and Voll Schön's Etcha, each came up with a completely different interpretation "Goldstück", while Daensen and Danger Dave make their first appearance as DAENGER and have a go at "Astronauten & Fliegen". 

Better start collecting fire wood.
