Being involved in program planning and working for/in such a unique space gave her fresh look in to the scene and allow her to grow personally as well as a dj.

Dominik André is active in the Zurich music scene – as a DJ and with his label Subject To Restrictions Discs. He is known for unconventional selections and for creating deep and transcendent as well as ecstatic moments on dancefloors of Festivals and Clubs. Attracted by the weird and the unknown, Dominik André blends quirky techno with mutant trance always immersed in a Wave and Post-Punk inspired aesthetic blurring the lines of dance music. As former resident at Club Zukunft, now regularly seen at Kauz Club, Kasheme and Stereo in his hometown of Zurich, he also got recognised outside the city. This has taken him to clubs such as Salon Des Amateurs in Düsseldorf, Arkaoda in Istanbul, Astron in Athens and to festivals like Am Bach, Lethargy, Electrosanne or Montreux Jazz.
He also shares his broad musical understanding on radio stations around the world. He hosts the monthly radio show Murky Rhythms Collide on Radio Raheem in Milan and has made guest appearances on radio stations including NTS and Rinse FM in London, Kiosk Radio in Brussels and the much-missed Red Light Radio in Amsterdam.
Besides his DJ career, Dominik André has a reputation for learning about and documenting electronic music and its scenes as a journalist and publicist. When he's not DJing, he takes care of the creative and administrative direction of his label Subject To Restrictions Discs. With more than 20 releases the label has established itself internationally as a place for 80s- and 90s-influenced music with cross-genre aspirations.

Dafoe (@realdafoe) és l'alias d'Albert Romero, DJ barceloní. Des de les seves primeres experiències com a teclista en un grup de post-punk electrònic fins a les seves vivències recorrent les pistes de ball de festivals i clubs per tot Europa, el seu gust es moldeja entre les empentes del pogo i els balls fins a la matinada al ritme del bombo.

Aquest mestissatge sonor permet a Dafoe cultivar una àmplia i personal visió de la música que, combinada amb la seva destresa darrere els plats, li permet entrellaçar els gèneres amb facilitat, aconseguint en cada un dels seus sets un so únic que li és característic.
Des de la sonoritat envolvent del techno fins als intrincats ritmes del break i l'energia pulsant de l'electro, els seus sets funcionen com una porta d'entrada al seu espectre musical eclèctic i revelen l'empatia innata d'Albert per sintonitzar-se amb el present i adaptar-se al que cada moment requereix.

Este mestizaje sonoro permite a Dafoe cultivar una amplia y personal visión de la música que, combinada con su destreza tras los platos, le permiten entrelazar los géneros con facilidad, logrando en cada uno de sus sets un sonido único que le es característico.

Dafoe is the alias of Albert Romero, a Barcelona DJ. From his early exploits as a keyboardist in a post-punk electronic band to his time spent touring the dancefloors of festivals and clubs across Europe, his taste has been woven through pogo jostling and dancing till dawn to the beat of the kick drum.
This sonic melting pot enables Dafoe to cultivate a broad and personal vision of music that, combined with his skills behind the decks, allows him to blend genres with ease, achieving a uniquely distinctive sound in each of his sets.  

Ranging from the enveloping rhythms of techno to the intricate beats of break and the pulsating energy of electro, his sets serve as a gateway to his eclectic musical spectrum and reveal Albert's innate empathy to tune in the present and adapt to whatever the moment demands.

These days, he’s the guy behind the scenes making sure everything sounds right, running a sound equipment rental business and working as a technical director for events. If the speakers aren’t blowing up mid-set, thank him.

When he’s not untangling cables or saving shows from technical meltdowns, Anton (aka Toxx) is diving deep into his own music. He’s into building DJ sets that feel more like journeys than just tracklists—genre-fluid and full of weird, beautiful energy.

For this mix, he stitched together some of his favorite sounds—house, electro, EBM, acid, and techno—all warped and woven into one smooth trip. Press play, close your eyes, and see where it takes you.

Anatolian Weapons delivers a masterclass for our first podcast of the new year.

Born and raised in Greece, Aggelos Baltas has created a name for himself over the last few years for exploring a unique range of sounds; often blending his psychedelic goa trance influences with world-music.  It is this unique taste that has continued to impress, whether it be in his brilliantly unpredictable DJ sets, or his distinct productions.

Having had his music released on the likes of Lena Willikens's contribution to the Dekmantel Selectors series, as well as Lurid Music and with an upcoming release on Crevette Records, Anatolian Weapons is building an immense line of productions. But it doesn't stop there, with his other aliases Dream Weapons and Fantastikoi Hxoi also producing some brilliant alternative projects.
