This track has each instrument having a melody based on a diferent rhtymic pattern and playing at the same time. The harmonies are dissonant but you can follow the melodies. And it's main element is the different rhythms.

String Quartet 1 - Rhythmia From July 2017 Concert

This track describes what happen when misinformation enters an equation. You have a them and then 3 notes that do not have much to do with the theme enter and the whole theme gets affected until the inverted 3 note pattern enters and corrects the theme and brings us to a mor harmonic comclusion. I wrote it many years ago but the idea still holds true. This was recorded in concert so the recording is not great. Once I get a studio recording, I will replace it.

This track is a composed of simple melodies going across string harmonics. The harmonics will sound dissonant and the whole piece is experimental and gives en eerir effect, which was somewhat expected but not quite to this degree.

In here we have a classical quartet theme developed with some baroque devices and with some modern harmonies to give us a hybrid work that is interesting and accesible.

This track is the third movement of The Immigrants and it describes immigrants' experience with work in the US. The first part of The Immigrants describes why immigrants from Mexico come to the US. I surveyed 25 immigrants and wrote the text using their own words. It is mostly in Spanish but it has some English in it. This is a preview of the full choral work. Art is by Jummy Longoria, used by permission.

The second movement of The Immigrants describes the experience, sometimes dramatic, sometines not,  that immigrants from Mexico had in crossing the border and coming to the US. The text comes from 25 interviews I did to Mexican immigrants in Minnesota. It is mostly in Spanish, with some English lines.
