Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @insolate_official for its forty third episode of Amplify Series.

A veritable powerhouse of the Croatian techno scene Insolate has been
establishing a global presence as a DJ and producer for over 20 years
delivering as both a label boss at Out Of Place and the creative force
behind their electrifying TRAUM events.

Hailing from Osijek, Croatia, on the wide Croatian East – a town that at
first glance a heavy industrial atmosphere overshadows, she is making
her first steps as a DJ back in 1997 before taking over European and
worldwide clubs.

Her list of clubs and partys she played is impressive and includes
Berghain, Rex, Tresor, Under Club, Club d’Anvers, Unter, Exit Festival,
Tomorrowland, ADE and Dimensions Festival. Amongst many European
clubs she played numerous tours in Colombia and recently added USA,
China and Argentina to the list.

As a producer, she's had a string of releases on highly respected labels
including Ellen Alien’s Bpitch, Ben Sims’s Symbolism and Machine, DJ
Deep's Deeply Rooted, Marcelus’s Singular and Developer’s Modularz -
supported and played by some of techno's finest including Laurent
Garnier, DVS1, Dax J and Ilario Alicante. Also she released the stellar
Obscure Object Of Desire EP on JoeFarr's new User Experience imprint, EP
for a Suara and beautiful EP for Proletarijat, label run by Sev Dah. She
also contributed to Ben Sim’s compilation Tribology among giants as
Planetary Assault Systems, Oscar Mulero, Steffi etc. and also made super
interesting collaboration with french producer Arnaud le Texier and
released EP with him for Prodigal Son.

In 2019. she announced her debut album. The album Order is Chaos was
released as a double vinyl and contains 10 tracks with extremely interesting collaborations with MATRIXXMAN and singer SARA RENAR.
DJ Mag (UK) described album as “exciting journey thru trans-dimensional
vocals, acid drenched sequences and floor obligated bangers.”

In 2021. she started Online Production Masterclass right after attending
1U4 Leadership Academy when everything went online during pandemic
and no one could access classrooms - so we all switched to the virtual
ones.

Insolate is also a major contributor to the Croatian techno scene, so much
so that she was in Ibiza to receive the award for "Dance Nation of the
Year" at the DJ Awards on behalf of her nation. Her and long-time partner
in crime Volster also run the event series TRAUM in her native Osijek.
TRAUM events have cemented their place in the clubbing calendar with
quality artists like Paula Temple, Antigone, Cassegrain, Janice, Etapp Kyle
and Milton Bradley, just to name a few. The success of the TRAUM nights
caught the attention of Red Bull Music Academy and Dimensions – both of
which they have hosted official events for.

Insolate being an international messenger of techno was recognised by
Ambassador award that gave her a title "Croatia’s ambassador overseas"
for 2017 and also 2019. when she won 4 awards for the best DJ, single of
the year, remix of the year and again, ambassador overseas.

As a DJ, Insolate is well known for her no-compromise, pure-bred techno
sets. It's clear to anyone who's seen her perform that she's an artist with
a lot of experience but also plenty of inspiration and ambition, and a deep
knowledge of techno. She is simply a natural presence in a DJ booth. If
you've seen her play, you will know exactly what this means.

Amplify Series 043 - Insolate

The Vault Sessions resident plays a refined selection of styles, with a focus on hypnotic yet powerful Techno that showcases dominant percussion and draws inspiration from both old school and hard groove influences.

Her deep-rooted love and passion for music can be traced back to her parents, who organised electronic music events in Budapest during the 90s. Influenced by her parents’ musically driven upbringing, she ambitiously embarked on her career when she was a mere 18 years young.

Fast forward to the present day, Grace is currently at the forefront of the thriving scene in The Netherlands and is swiftly accelerating within the international circuit. She has been showcasing her craft at various renowned events around Europe with a jam packed 2023 schedule, playing at the likes of Awakenings, Vault Sessions, FUSE, Sziget Festival, RSO, Rotterdam Rave, Soenda Festival, Intercell and By the Creek, among others.

It didn’t take her long to take the next step within her career as she head towards her journey into production four years ago, which rapidly led to her track “Vermilion Empire” being released on Amelie Lens’ label, EXHALE in 2020 and her latest tracks being released on Voxnox, Deestricted, IMF and ANTIDOTE.

Gustavo Bassani is a techno producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. SERA J., also known as Dimitrios Serasidis, is a musician, techno composer, and DJ hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece.

Deeply inspired by the Detroit techno legacy, SERA J.’s sound is a dynamic fusion of driving basslines, high-energy grooves, and intricate, captivating details. With standout releases on renowned labels such as Mutual Rytm, Life in Patterns, and Projekts, he has firmly established himself on the global music stage. His tracks have earned widespread support from leading artists worldwide, frequently charting and making their way into countless DJ sets. 
This recognition has positioned him as one of Greece's most promising techno exports.

Recently, SERA J. has been channeling his creative energy into a forward- thinking live set, showcasing explosive, futuristic soundscapes.

With over 12 years of experience behind the decks, he has shared stages with some of the world’s most celebrated artists. Today, SERA J. tours internationally, performing at esteemed clubs and festivals such as RSO, Dreaming Festival, Under Club, Fridas Pier, Lofi, and PIP, among others.

Looking ahead, his trajectory remains bright, with several exciting EPs already scheduled for release later this year.

For SERA J., music is more than just sound—it’s a state of mind, a medium for interaction, inspiration, and boundless creation. His unwavering passion drives him ever upward, carving a path as a distinctive and innovative voice in the techno scene.

DJ and selector of dark techno, and experimental sounds.
Originally from Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real) and based in Madrid.

His connection with electronic music was born with the EDM boom and festivals like Tomorrowland, but it was techno that awakened his true passion. After training at Trade DJ School with Fran Lobato, he consolidated his sound proposal, characterised by intense sets that travel from the deepest techno to the final melodic touch that defines his style.

He has performed in venues in Madrid alongside groups such as Organic Community, standing out for his ability to transmit emotions through rhythm and mixing.

His main influences: Tommy Four Seven, Adriana López, Dasha Rush, Rødhåd, Lewis Fautzi.
