claude b has been producing for several years, driven by multiple inspirations, from hip hop to classical techno and jungle. Alongside his friends from Solstice303 with whom he organizes parties in different clubs in Nantes (France), he starts to release more tracks.

His method for recording machines and the spontaneity of his rhythms give an almost human and frenetic side to his music, yet very electronic. This 3rd EP Spectral Matters is the mark of it: 3 deep and vibrant tracks, each enhancing in their own way the use of his favorite drum machine.

The track Spectral Matters is a perfect trip switching between different acid basslines, house parts and breaks parts, supported by suspended yet constantly changing textures. The whole at 137 BPM, tinged with the deep color of a very simple chord progression and the aggressiveness of an 808, gives a fast and funky fusion between deep house and trance.

Venezuelan wonder producers Fur Coat step up for a triumphant return to their spiritual home of Crosstown Rebels armed with a solid stack of weapons to vamp up the dancefloor. Showcasing the duo’s most thoughtful and restrained material to date, the ‘U Turn EP’ is a deep and moody tour de force, technically on point and awash with hypnotic bleeps, dramatic tension and shards of vintage techno. Damian Lazarus has consistently hammered all 4 cuts of late and ‘U Turn’ has been a staple in the sets of the mighty Tale Of us for 4 months, debuting at Time Warp in Mannheim to heated speculation. Fur Coat is one of the most hard-working and passionate duos in the business. Unearthed and championed by original Rebel Damian Lazarus, the duo released their impressive debut album ‘Mind Over Matter’ in 2012 on Crosstown Rebels

Since the album dropped, the pair have been called upon to sprinkle the unmistakable Fur Coat magic to reworks of legends such as Timo Maas & Robert Owens as well as hot newcomers Kidnap Kid & Joy Wellboy. April 2014 saw another landmark as the guys released their first original material since Mind Over Matter. 'Theres No Time EP' came out on the much hyped Hot Creations imprint from Jamie Jones & Lee Foss and is still getting hammered by some of the biggest players in the game today. Hot on its heels came 'The Right Move EP' for Ellen Allien's legendary Berlin imprint Bpitch Control, and featured the vocal talents of Jaw from DOP, again cementing Fur Coat’s name at the top of the industry.

Formerly known as Al Tourettes, London-based producer Alec Storey unveiled his new project as Second Storey with 2013’s ‘Margosa Heights’ EP. Now he drops ‘Shaman Champagne’, the lead single from ‘Double Divide’, his forthcoming debut LP due for release this October on Houndstooth, the esteemed label from London nightclub fabric, which is A&Red by Electronic Explorations curator Rob Booth.

Inhabiting a space full of contradictions, paradoxes and idiosyncrasies, Storey produces music that runs the gamut from multi-part suites of hefty sound design to club-shaking yet brainy dance epics for labels like Apple Pips, Aus and many more. This new project is at the crossroads; vastly complex and intricately arranged, “Shaman Champagne” is an adventurous club tune crafted by a truly inspired mind, showing off his bass roots as well as his psychedelically inspired musical abilities.

On the heels of his successful The Power And The Glory LP, Perc Trax label boss Perc (@perc) offers up a wonderfully heavy, pummelling remix, followed by a bouncy dancefloor roller from Aden, who is rumoured to be the Ultramajic label’s A&R, Machinedrum (@machinedrum)

The 12" is cut & mastered by Matt Colton, and limited to 500 copies.

"No Reason to Lie" is the lead track of the EP, characterized by an aggressive but groovy percussion.

"I Can't Stop Looking at You"- is the most playful track. It has a friendly bass line which stands out. The movement is given by vocals, making the track ideal for every dance floor. 

"Am" - Brian shows his introspective side by this track in which the sounds are composed by long pads that point out the down lift, a powerful bass line alongside a vocal that marks the rhythm of the track.
