Nils Hoffmann teams up with Australian singer-songwriter Panama for the next single ‘Far Behind’. Taken from Nils’ forthcoming album ‘A Radiant Sign’, out September 2 on Anjunadeep.

Opening with Panama’s dreamy vocals, Nils gradually layers atmospheric chords with a bright plucked synth, culminating in a rich, warm production that epitomises his sound. Having previously collaborated with artists including Ben Böhmer and Two Lanes on ‘Weightless’ and ‘Rolling Back’ respectively, Panama has had regular support from flagship radio stations KCRW and Sirius XM and has accumulated over 300m streams on Spotify alone.
Nils’ Hoffmann’s upcoming album ‘A Radiant Sign’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for the 26-year-old up-and-comer. Finding himself going through a transitional stage in his life, Nils used the album to help him escape and give him hope in uncertain times.

“The album is about new beginnings, and represents the beautiful results that can come from fighting through difficult circumstances. I wanted to give people a collection of music that they can be absorbed by; giving them the hope and faith to keep going through the twists and turns of life. While writing the album, I realised that challenging situations do eventually come to an end, and while facing those challenges, it’s best to look ahead. That’s what ‘A Radiant Sign’ stands for.”

‘Far Behind’ follows on from album singles ‘Afterglow’, ‘Let Me Go’ and ‘9 Days’ which have gained over 1m streams and support from Eelke Kleijn, Joris Voorn and Maceo Plex. This adds to an already impressive list of support from Diplo, Bob Moses and Pete Tong who’ve championed his work on Poesie Musik, Ton Töpferei, Bitbird and Counter Records.

Nils is part of the next wave of emerging talent from London-based electronic label Anjunadeep, who have broken electronic music stars such as Lane 8, Yotto, Eli & Fur and Ben Böhmer.

‘A Radiant Sign’ is out September 2 on Anjunadeep.

Celestial Resonance

Spanish label Sungate has been a beacon for techno lovers in the past several years, conjuring up dancefloor gems by artists close to our hearts here at Delayed. They're taking a refreshing plunge into depths of electro with the debut EP, "Deep Water," by Dutch producer Taupe.

Imagine scaling the rusty fire escape of a forgotten skyscraper, heart pounding as you climb towards the sky. The city sprawls beneath you, a concrete jungle teeming with hidden corners and forgotten secrets. That's the thrill of "Abyss" – a deep dive into the unexplored alleys of electro, where classic 808 broken beats are the cobbled streets, the air is soft and warmed by the glow of mellow pads while razor-sharp synths shimmer like holographic projections, casting fleeting glimpses of hidden realities onto the grimy facades of the concrete jungle.

Taupe's EP, "Deep Water," is a map to this sonic labyrinth, and "Abyss" is the hidden treasure at its heart.

"Deep Water" EP is set for release on February 2.

As the world embraces vinyl once more we present to you our next adventures on wax with a special classic cut featuring four quality slices from the legendary Orlando Voorn. Orlando Voorn is revered as having brought the sounds of Amsterdam and Detroit together to create a unique flavour that still rings true today. Having won the Dutch DMC championship in 1986 he then turned his hand to producing. Since 1991 he has been churning out quality techno and he soon got noticed by the likes of Juan Atkins and Derrick May both of whom he has worked with extensively. A fan of many genres of music including Hip Hop, Electro, Drum n Bass, Techno etc..., he used a string of aliases - 31 at last count - with some gaining huge popularity. We're delighted to bring you these fantastic tracks on vinyl which will no doubt take pride of place in many collections.

Limited Edition - The Light is a classic from 1992 and showcases Orlando's producing and sampling skills to the max. Such a perfectly executed track with mesmerizing stabs and chords that take on many persona throughout the track building up a solid techno groove, simply magical.

Dope Computer appeared next to Flash in its original form, but here we've been graced with a remix from techno master Ken Ishii. Ken does as Ken does and he knocks it outta the park with this one. A sublime transformation from the original, acidified and discofied to the max.

Orlando Voorn and Juan Atkins reside under their Infiniti guise to give us Game One which is a perfect example of an energetic techno slice from 1994, this one made you move and got right up under your skin with its infectious groove. The remix from Steve Rachmad beefs up the sound and adds a deeper element with strings and a brilliantly executed stab sequence.

Format #1 gave us one of the most iconic techno tracks of the early nineties. Solid Sessions gets the remix treatment from Vince Watson. Scottish producer Vince's pacey remix from 2011 delivers a sublime techno groove that simplified the melody and added perfectly balanced layers to beef up the groove.
