German­ born Timo Mass & Canadian James Teej join together for the next Rebellion release with the creation of their ‘thingzz EP’. It sees the world ­renowned pair creating a two track EP for the Crosstown Rebels sub ­label.

"Having started collaborating nearly three years ago, Timo and Teej have since continued building on this foundation by performing alongside each other, as well as joining forces and sharing influences in a series of studio sessions. They have shared ideas, music and an overall vision, and with the writing of ‘thingzz’, established a starting point for their output together. ‘thingzz’ began with a few listening sessions that lead up to an exploration around Timo's home in the German countryside. Making a bold statement, with a confident yet tasteful take on contemporary electronica, the EP marks the beginning of a string of projects that the two are actively collaborating on.”

Title track ‘thingzz’ is a 10 minute composition brimming with atmosphere. This is deep and dark music at it’s best and the quality reinforces why they are masters of their craft. The B­side ‘Shadows Of Your Suns’ holds an intense, and raw energy, fusing together an impressive beast of a production.

Given his ever improving track record of delivering mind bending, dance floor orientated live sets combined with his impressive output of releases this year, we are extremely happy to welcome Enzo Leep to Hossh Records. The Spaniard has teamed up with one of Romanias most understated players in Radu Mirica and Danielle Nicole who has put out some serious heat this year. 

Enzo opens the EP in typically confident fashion with Honeymoon, this functional cut combines stripped back percussion with a subtly building bass line that kicks in with full force after a teasing breakdown. Radu’s influence comes into play offering the EP a trippy edge to it with Turda’s eerie vocal and consuming groove while Prejmer’s atmospheric pads and distant, hypnotic sub bass highlights the mellowed out side of the release. Danielle Nicole links with Enzo to finish of the EP with a floaty, reduced roller in Groove3.
