The bass clarinet is an instrument that has a special timbric richness and a remarkable range of possibilities of extended techniques, very explored in contemporary music. Benefiting from it, Sergio Albach intended to bring together a repertoire that, without favoring a specific aesthetics, delivers several trends in two formats: solo and with electronics. This compilation is the result of years of research and contacts with major representatives of the bass clarinet universe as Harry Spaarnay and Henri Bok (Netherlands), as well as with most of the composers of the selected works, which come from Europe, Oceania and South America. Premiered in April 2016, this concert has already circulated through many cities in Brazil and in Argentina.
