➢Tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning?

Good morning dear all! I like it smooooth and lazy in the morning. It can be some TripHop sounds from my favourite musicians Boozoo Bajou or some dreamy downtempo tunes. I don't have a favourite musician in our genre, I like every one of you <3 <3

➢How did you come about your DJ alias Lockige Ostsee?

Oh, hehe :D Years ago I had some more hair on my head and it´s getting curly with the length over 5cm. And I was born, raised and still live at the Baltic sea. It´s hard to find a perfect name, either a DJ name or a track name, isn´t it? 😊 😊

➢ Where would be the best place to take us to enjoy a sunset in Rostock?

I think, one of the best places is the Rostock city harbour, where the mixtape-picture was made (by my lovely friend @ener-music ). But another nice spot is the beach in Rostock-Warnemünde, but there are too many people in my opinion :P 

➢ How has the music scene developed in Rostock over the last few years and could you recommend the listeners an event that you love or you might organize with your collective Faultierdisko?

The people in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern always say “Everything comes 100 year later in M-V” – like the music scene too :D Downtempo has just a little crowd in Rostock and the region. Even though there are many many beautiful musicians in MV. Think about Steffen Kirchhof, M.Rux, Klangstrom, Commander Love, Luett Matten, just to call some of them. A few of them do not live here anymore, but they all started here 😊

➢ Clubs and Festivals have started re-opening, where or what was the first event you attended?

My first gig after this corona time was at the beach in my new home area in Zingst. But my slothbrother Stelzenläufer and I will play at the beautiful 3000 Grad Festival next week. We can´t wait for it!!! 😊

➢ Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? 

Ohyeah! Let us start smooth and lazy with the first few songs. Then we dive into a dreamy way – it´s the moment when the sun hits the water surface. After this, when it´s getting darker and darker, I will tune up with some faster slothdisco vibes before we heading into darker, deeper and “geile” music. After this, I will give you some better feelings to end this journey with a smile in your face 😊 😊

We know the launch can be a bit rough sometimes, but as soon as the shuttle maneuvers into its destined course you can relax and let gravity decide where she wants you to be. If it’s alright with you, we will start with on-board entertainment now.

A common way (with regional fluctuations) for humans to unwind back on planet Earth was to throw heavy spheres onto narrow paths of wood, aiming for weird conic artefacts. A destructive game created by a destructive kind. The ever existing paradoxe. Creation and destruction. The circle of life… 

Where were we? Ah right! 

Bowling – or Kegeln as the Germans call it – is usually a single player sport, on special occasions it is imperative to form duets though. If you for example want no pin ever to stand up again, it is best to let KGLN do the job. Apparently they are professionals of some sort, but I haven’t seen proof yet… It’s not easy to get a hold of the two. 

This for example is their first appearance since 2020. You can release your security belts now, and lend yourself to any movement that is about to happen.

Der Himmel fungiert wie ein Spiegel des gesellschaftlichen Gemüts. All die Ungewissheit, Zweifel und Sorgen stehen ihm geradezu ins Gesicht geschrieben. Sie offenbaren sich in Form eines grauen Schleiers, welcher den sichtbaren Horizont fest umwickelt hat. Wie ein Orbitalschild hält er effizient und äußerst penibel jegliche Form des Sonnenlichtes vom menschlichen Antlitz fern. Nichts dringt durch ihn hindurch, abgesehen von Regentropfen. Diese laufen regelmäßig und in Strömen auf die Köpfe, Häuser und Städte der Menschen herab. Dieser wettertechnische Zustand ist keine wirkliche Hilfe um die Stimmung aufzuheitern. Ganz im Gegenteil, dass ewige weiß-grau hält die Menschen in einer Winterschlaf artigen Trance und dämpft das allgemeine Klima, auf eine Atmosphäre der fatalistischen Gleichgültigkeit ab. 

Heute haben wir den DJ und Musik Produzenten Saive auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Dieses Mal macht uns der charmante Weltenbummler und Liebhaber der musischen Genüsse mit einem Podcast, anstatt mit einem Track Release seine Aufwartung.
