@e_loi is back with his second release for @everybodyinrec and we couldn’t be so thrilled to close 2022 with his chef-d'oeuvre! The Parisian producer has clearly shown the desire of capturing us in warm, comforting housey sounds with mixed feelings throughout his five tracks.

Let yourself be carried away by the melodic sounds of “Let People Change”, before switching to the acidic bass of “I Think It's Time”. The cheerful atmosphere in “Nothing New” is nicely broken up by the more tenebrous “Les Textures”. Ending with the deep melancholic voyage offered by “Drums and Distortion” will get you lost in this magic.

“Nothing New” EP is a guarantee, you will not get enough of it!

Almost two years ago we reissued DJ Boom 'Kinda Kickin' with an extra Efdemin remix on CURLE-P06. Because y'all loved it so much, we decided to reissue two more Matthew Herbert deep house goodies. After the very well received Linkwood remix of 'See You On Monday', it’s now time for one of Herbert’s biggest records; ‘Deeper’, from the iconic "Part Two" EP, 20 years old but still timeless! On remix duties is Basic Soul Unit, who saw his album released on Dekmantel end of last year. We knew he was good, but his remix exceeded each and any of our expectations. What a bomb!!! In Áskell's own words the tracks were a product of experimenting in the studio where he's been evolving his sound for the past years.

The EP starts out with a lovely dreamy vibe as 'Space Is The Place' and 'Dimono’ make good use of some of Áskell's synths. The last two tracks on the EP provide bangers for the late night. 'Uwah' is a wonky techy tune made in collaboration with one of BORG's co-founders Ómar E. and 'Straum' goes full techno with what can be perceived as haunting, hovering chords over a modular type of a beat.

We're truly happy to have one of our closest friends on the label, and we're excited to see what the Tales catalogue has to bring in the forthcoming year.
