The Edge: Takes the listener to the Middle Ages, to the hall of anvils, where blades and hammers are forged and sharpened.

The Fire: Immerse yourself in the entourage of medieval battles: you will pass in the intro through the atmosphere of the scorched lands, and the drop will send you directly to the battle of the knights.

The Entrati: Tells about the people of Entrati, the forerunners of our generation. A civilizations where they lived was incredibly peaceful, technological and harmonic.

The Radiate: But behind the technology and harmony hides the reverse side of the coin: technologies have killed the people of Entrati. They were never able to prevent death from radiation, so the forerunners vanished from the face of the planet.

Already firmly established as one of Europe’s leading taste-maker drum & bass labels, Blackout follow Telekinesis’ rip-roaring ‘Fight Club’ EP with Edge – a collaborative five tracker from German duo Neonlight & fellow German producer Wintermute.

Set for release on March 29th, ‘Edge’ adopts a diverse approach to the genre by moving away from the neurofunk style Blackout have become synonymous with, to craft something altogether harder, darker and edgier. Lead track ‘Guinea Pig’ is all broken beat, sharp synths and raging percussion, whilst ‘Influx’ works more conventional drum & bass rhythm, amidst a darker, almost gothic backdrop. Neonlight – having already released twice via Blackout – and Wintermute also extend their collaborative imagination on the lighter ‘Posthuman’ with faded, bleepy news-bulletin interludes serving as just one example of how intricate and well-balanced their sound design is right across the EP.

Given the vibrancy and darker, club-ready feel of ‘Edge’, Neonlight & Wintermute thus feel like natural choices to continue Blackout’s fast-building legacy and further cement themselves as some of Europe’s go-to drum & bass producers.

Ero Drummer & M.Bass have gone on a different vibe with their next release on Serotone Recordings in the form of 'ZERO GRAVITY' yet have managed to keep their signature sound. This one is going to lift you to new heights, with a sense of weightlessness yet heavy in the same light.

With a couple of collaborations thrown in the mix, you're really spoilt for choice when it comes to versatility. Firstly label stalwart Bangta Rights is featured on 'Oblivion', stepping away from the buttons to lend his vocals on this track. 

Secondly, 'Empire' features Slovakia's Changing Faces jumping to the rise on this one. A new signing of Fokuz Recordings, she has an extensive catalogue of consistent, meaningful tracks with crisp production which really presents itself here.

They've really tried out new things on this release and it has paid dividends, making Zero Gravity their best EP to date.
