Zu unserem nächsten kleinen Jubiläum, dem vierzigsten Release, haben wir wieder drei frische Tracks unseres Kontinuitätskünstlers Pltx am Start. Die EP heißt schlicht „Sounds“ und bildet einen großen Klangradius im Wirken des Wahldresdners ab.

Der titelgebende Track besticht sofort als sehr filigranes Stück, welches sich äußerst behutsam im Gewässer des eigenen Grooves vorantastet. Ein wunderbar unaufdringlicher Tune. „Warp Drive“ verkörpert wiederum eher die stürmische See. Die Melancholie bleibt, das Schiff krümmt sich durch die bedrohlich wallende Bassline und die techigen Drums aber wesentlich spitzwinkliger im offenen Meer. „Deep End“ ist das breakigste der drei Tracks und navigiert das Stück durch sein an Drumfunk erinnerndes Sounddesign weg von der geradlinigen Wasserstraße.

In welche Sound-Wasserader ihr am liebsten eintauchen wollt – ist euch überlassen.

This track was inspired by my trips to Germany, and Austria, and spending time with guys like Phace and Mefjus. The name represents the swinging bassline, two notes in tandem with each other, having a call and response. I loved the visual image it brings, but the track was only an idea when a good friend convinced me to finish it. Simplistic, but straight to the point.
