Listening to Reflektor on loop while debugging a lexer bug with --[[comments]] instead of digging into why bcgen won't parse, noticed since it failed if I used --[[comments]] instead of --comments while playing around with the error case, decided to pause music & record noises I start making at times, some kind of singing along, some kind of regression into natural state

The minus one change fixed the issue, but looking over code, I could instead remove an increment, so that's what the final commit is

Reflektor struck a chord, being someone who tends to reflect on reflection, & these reflections interject on themselves, in prose I'll begin to outline what I've decided not to reflect on, or at least delve into, but that results in summarizing what's being claimed removed, wordstains. Couldn't come across a freely available copy of Two Ages to dig deeper to this source of reflection on reflection on reflection to help me break free from reflecting on my reflecting through reflecting on my reflecting on reflecting. Somewhere I need to stop & move on, into some new identity, not some accumulation of knots tying in on themselves, those aren't me, those were me. Here I've avoided the theme of people being empty of their own thoughts, just reflecting what's been fed to them, that's a whole other thought, less relevant to me, perhaps more generally interesting as a concept. Really liked the album as a whole, ended up listening to it at work for a few days, don't get to make spontaneous noises there tho

Recorded myself lisping in order to try work out how to suppress it, seems the tongue slides off the bottom teeth, thought suppressing involved rolling it back across top teeth, usually just let it push up on the bottom of the front teeth

It ends up not cropping up in day to day. Mostly becomes an issue when having to spell things & can never get across 'S' or 'F'. So recorded saying 'seeing something so sombre elsewhere' over & over while experimenting with tongue. & all this brings memories back to 1st grade speech therapy where they concluded I was fine since if I slowed down & paid attention it'd go away, but that was years ago, method of suppression forgotten. Later grades children laughing as I spoke. It was something which made me conclude people over evaluate the innocence of children: children were always the most cruel, my peers became better as they aged, & when I interacted with children they'd make fun of me as my peers had years past. But it sticks around, somewhere in 9th grade I'm sitting in English waiting for Lunch to end & some girls come in asking me to say random words, run off laughing after I've lisped out their request. Don't remember who they were

Nailing in the white bucket took way too long. Hard to hammer when there's a plastic overhang. Was able to fit blue string through holes thanks to a bobby pin

I spent more time setting up the composition of the photo than recording. Making sure the plate's reflection had the right amount of stuff (went with no cutlery in the end) & carefully placing floss on other side of rubber band debris, moving aside stray mouse I stopped using ever since I went full tty, getting laptop's shadow out of the way
