We are delighted to welcome Wes Baggaley to the Killekill Podcast series with this killer uptempo, wild but funky mix of techno and electro. 
A self confessed vinyl addict, Wes has been familiar to promoters, record store staff and clubbers in the UK and in recent years has become a familiar face to a much wider audience. 
From 2016 to 2020, @wes-baggaley played some of the best regarded underground parties across Europe including the legendary Panoramabar and the esteemed Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, as well as other clubs & events across Germany,  Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland , Hungary, Romania, and Holland. 
Alongside features in several leading dance music publications, Wes has live-streamed sets for Mixmag's The Lab, Red Light Radio in Amsterdam, an extremely well received Boiler Room, and held a residency on Rinse FM from 2017 to 2021. He can currently be found playing everything from dark ambient, noise and industrial to techno, electro and breaks on Netil Radio.

Underscore_ w/ Homemade Weapons - 01/04/2025

Having consistently played the most illustrious, largest clubs and festivals right across the world, in January Perc took the challenge of taking his diverse sound to The DBA, an old school, traditional British pub turned underground rave space over on Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester, with a 3 hour closing of The Lounge.

This was what happened, with a few words from Ali himself:

"The January event was my first time playing at The DBA in Manchester, but I had heard from a few DJ friends that it was a mad place to play.


My plan was to start with quite a house party / afterparty type of vibe (like the DJ Sandy track at 35 mins) and then see where the crowd wanted to go from there. 


The start of the set is filled with a lot of layering. Riffs and vocals like the DJ Funk (RIP) cuts at 11 mins layered over drum loops from other tracks. This seemed to keep the energy level building and then I could slowly bring the bigger riffs and hooks and some harder acid tracks as the set got a little tougher and faster.


After that it was just a case of seeing how far I could take the crowd and how far they would take me. I remember a lot of cheers, people charging forwards when certain tracks dropped and some attempts to dance on tables." - PERC
