DJ set at La Nature Festival 2023

On November 9, 2024, Zanda Rec and Bad Influence came together to run a joint record label showcase in the heart of Byron Bay, Australia.

This is the recording from my set at the event, and is an expression of where my sound is at in this current time and what I want to be sharing with you all moving forward.

It includes 4 unreleased originals that are likely to be part of my debut EP on Zanda Rec.

Kicking off 2025 with a deep & psychedelic trip by @okouru. Based in Berlin and influenced by his years playing in Copenhagen’s vibrant scene, Okouru has mastered the art of blending hypnotic techno, psy-trance, 90’s trance, and progressive house into seamless, magnetic experiences. His sound invites all who tune in to lose themselves in the rhythm.

We absolutely loved the music selection that took us straight into a deep and psychedelic world, carefully curated with mental and progressive rhythms. A mix designed to lose yourself in dance, energy & love.

Originally from Spain and now based in Berlin, @isaramosx is a DJ, producer, and the founder of the @evolvelabel event series and label. Her sets explore deep, psychedelic territories, always infused with groove and energy. Focused on flow rather than genre, she seamlessly blends techno, trance, progressive house, and breaks — a sound that resonates deeply with the spirit of Abyssai.

Today, he brings in the talented @seanhorlyck — Amsterdam-born, now Berlin-based — known for her appearances in renowned venues such as Berghain's Säule, Renate, and other cutting-edge clubs.  Sean H is celebrated for her finely curated sets that seamlessly drift between eras, moods, and tempos, always infused with a meditative, immersive touch.  With her presence already confirmed at Modem Festival 2025, it felt only natural for Marco to invite her to showcase one of her finest selections.  Enjoy the journey.

Abyssaï | Mental invites Sean H

Next up in our mix series is Kohra, a producer, DJ, and founder of Qilla Records, now based in the coastal town of Goa. The name "Kohra" (Urdu for fog/mist) captures the essence of his sound - mysterious, shapeshifting, and immersive. With releases on Spacelab, Inner Tension, Mana Abundance, and many more, his music carries a cinematic weight, drifting between the ancient and the astral. Beyond his own work - Qilla Records, founded in 2011 - has become a home for boundary-pushing artists across disciplines, recently marking its 100th release with ‘Chakravyuh’, a compilation featuring over 35 artists from across the globe, reaffirming its commitment to community and experimentation.

In this mix, Kohra offers warmth and hypnosis flowing seamlessly through spacey and rolling trance-tinged techno. It is grounded in bumpy, yet psychedelic basslines with layered textures and fluid transitions that reflect Kohra’s deep understanding of pacing and progression. True to his style, Kohra avoids the obvious in favor of nuance, drawing the listener in with a sound that’s introspective yet expansive.
