It’s a new genre of rap called gentleman rap and I invented it and coined it that.

CUBAN CIGAR

Born  in Brooklyn, New York, J.crown  born Johnny crown   has been paving his musical path since an early age. Surrounded and influenced by some of the greats of our era, his sound is “I dont want to be cliche,” he says. “I want people to respect my music. I have the drive to be original and to stay true to who I am as a person and as an artist, and not create a gimmick with my artistry.” 

Listening to a variety of music not just hiphop influenced Ses . But his main rap influence is his older brother who taught him how to rap ,but passed away when he was young . He intends  to emulate the freedom of expression that various musical cultures also exuberate . Raised in Fort Green Brooklyn Nyc ,and also Lagos Nigeria were his mother is from he was surrounded by the best of both worlds . Which inspired him and music gave him an outlet to convey his experiences, his love , fears and his ambition. An ambition that still drives him today as a author ,actor and as a musician. Sesame has also featured in the past when he was much younger on 2 Albums by r&b Singer Avant .
Currently Sesame  is working on his  latest single entitled “Cuban cigar”  to be released in  1st quarter  2024. The story of Sesame is one of humble beginnings and an undying ambition to strive towards greatness and fulfill a higher purpose. The tribulations of his youth and unfortunate dispositions of his early adulthood have sculpted him into a much wiser man, all while maintaining a certain undeniable charisma that continues to draw new fans in everyday.
