05 Guinaifin Manglo

J.D. Crutch's adaptation of a Bee Gees song. Recorded at the vacation home/recording studio of Japanese composer Katsuo Ohno inside the Windward Hills Golf Course. The house was orginally built by Tugboat bassist Mike Homfeld's dad. Crutch and Fil Batol played acoustic guitars, and Fil also played bass. I handled keyboards and drums. The multi-channel tape recorder was 16 Track Ampex MM1100 as big as a stove that used 2-inch tape, and sounded very fat. I mixed Apo Magi, Bente Uno Yu' gi Preso and my song Kanton Langet at Sound Inn Studios in Tokyo.
