SCI FI ELECTRO is a collection of eight vinyl records inspired by films created in the 20th century, films like Blade Runner, 2001, THX 1138, Alien, Ghost In The Shell, Matrix, Solaris, The Thing, Terminator, Tron, Akira, Metropolis, Forbidden Planet, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, The War of Worlds, Invasion of Body Snatchers and many many more…

It is essential you can listen the full records, A Side and B Side, of a project of this nature. We protected the digital copy only adding the title of the records and the name of the producer several times in each side as a "watermark"

Each record is manufactured in a different color and the cardboard used for the sleeves made in black that will be manufactured only for a limited time, a very nice embossed paper with lines that will be silkscreen printed, folded and glued by hand at our studios.

The numbered limited edition box also includes an extra 7” titled MARIAS KLAGE with two tracks produced by MARISKA NEERMAN in tribute to METROPOLIS. We really love the work of Mariska and we want to start collaborating with her as part of this project, soon we will have more from her for our Electro Transmissions series.

Besides the box includes a big poster 90x30cm printed in silver ink over a high quality black paper, a silkscreen printed T-Shirt and also a very special gift that will be appreciated by all sci-fi freaks! This gift is only for the first pre-orders.

Marcel, the real name under the moniker ‘whø?’(@who22), is a DJ based in Berlin who is behind our 4Oth N2MU podcast . This novel artist defines himself as a music lover and vinyl addict;  he made his debut as a producer last year and is already making his way in the electro scene thanks to his genre-defying interests combined with curiosity, a passion for collecting music and a good feeling to build a set.  All these vital pillars are noticeable in this cracking podcast which offers expertly-melded electro with glimpses of acid and subtle breaks. The highly prolific Kurt Baggaley AKA Scape One seems capable of turning his hand to any beat, and Electro is clearly a specialty. After countless EPs, self album releases and more than 40 years of hard work, we have the pleasure to have him on our platform with a new exclusive mix!

His music has seen the light with amazing labels such as Abstract Theory, Chapter 24, Central Proccesing Unit, Space Factory, HotMix Records, Stem Records, Bass Agenda Recordings, Electronic Leatherette, Trust, Sin Hilo Records, Cultivated Electronics, brokntoys, Electrix Recordings, Solar One Music plus many more.

This time his take on Electro is the intricate, absorbing kind, but appropriately floor focused that ups the drama and club energy. It's a striking selection of skewed melodic electro that blossoms into gorgeous, but menacing atmospheres across the whole mix. We are just really fascinated by his sound.
 
Kurt also writes under guise of Tau Sagittarii for his Ambient Experimental compositions, described as 'Sensory Data for Hypersleep Chambers'.

Univac is the electro focussed project by Rafael M. Espinosa from Barcelona and are extremely pleased to welcome him to the series. He is also known for his techno-industrial project Geistvorm. The Univac project focuses on analogic sounds with a deep influence from The Hague and robotic electro styles. This veteran producer released his first EP on the iconic Bunker Records as well as David Vunk's Moustache Records, 30D Records, Femur Records, Diffuse Reality, as well as a recent release on New York-based Melodize. He also recently did an incredible performance as part of Pinkman's District series. His selection is a relentless composition that embodies his menacing and uncompromising approach to electro that we just can't get enough of. Lock in!

Dark Science Electro presents: Best Of 2021 (So Far)

Electro producer from the Netherlands, who started his career at the infamous Bass Agenda Recordings label from the UK in 2014. Releases include records on labels like HillTown Disco, Blind Allies, and the mighty Discos Atoniocos from Berlin. He also operates as 1/4 of the Transhumanism collective, who have a 5th installment of their series coming in 2022. Currently he is finalizing his first album which is coming out on Utrax. Expect an hour of some fierce electro!

ADJ originates from and is based in London. 
He has been playing Underground Electronic Music for over 35 years as a DJ, starting in the days of Early Electro and Hip Hop. He has also been producing and releasing music for 25 years, releasing over 200 tracks in this time on a plethora of labels including Andrea Parker's Touchin Bass, For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm, Woodwork, Ai, Outside USA, Cultivated Electronics, Section 27, Yellow Machines, Crobot Muzik - Croatia (with Advent), Diffuse Reality,,Battery Park - Germany, Kidnapping Netlabel - Argentina, Interakt, Shameless Toady, District 6, Open Mind, Electro Compendium, Digital Distortions, Fundamental and has done remixes forFlint Kids, Scanone, Ed Chamberlain, Sync24,Lifecycle,LASynthesis,Carbinax,Nter, Carl Finlow, Fleck Esc, Dj Astrobee, Arsonist Recorder and Paul Hierophant.
He is due to release his Transmissions from the Pyramid album in the next few weeks on For Those That Knoe, an 8 track vinyl anthology of tracks from the last 2 decades and a 4 track 12' vinyl imminent on Another Perspective (Spain) 
During the 90's ADJ´s DJ sets were also getting media acclaim with Vice Magazine (1998) and Muzik Mag featuring London's top labels and DJs where he was featured in both categories.
Also during the 90's ADJ toured the US several times with the Outside Records crew and the ELM crew from LA and played for the famous Infiltrate parties, an anti Miami WMC event run by the Underground artists from Miami, including Phoenicia/Soul Oddity (Schematics, Warp), Otto Von Shirach, Richard Devine, Tipper/Crunch, 214 and European Electro Artist Anthony Rother. Around this time he was interviewed for 2 Documentaries about Electro Music in the US, Electro Djziska and Darkbeat, where he was credited with spreading the Nu Electro sound and dubbed 'The Worldwide Ambassador of Electro '.
 
He has run the Pyramid Transmissions Record label with label partner Pathic for 20 years and also ran the Analogique record label for 5 years from 1995-2000 releasing Techno, Electro and Electronica as 3 Elements.

As a DJ, he has played at many festivals including a BLOC residency, Glastonbury For BLOC, Bestival, Shambala, Infiltrate at WMC Miami. 2019 saw another tour of the US with Silicon Scally,Ben Milstein, EVAC, Ion Driver and 214. He also runs the Dodo Club and Frequency Resonate(with Errorbeauty) nights in London for the last 8 years as well as  playing in Lille, Kiev, Moscow, St Petersburg Berlin,Zagreb,Athens, Napoli, Brussels, Budapest, Vienna, Valencia, Sofia, Paris and played for the SKIZZE Crew/X-Ploration and also at Greismuhlle in Berlin, Barcelona (for CERCLE) and Valencia (with UMWELT) and organised a 24 hour Dodo Club Room at the unique Next Step Forward Festival in London celebrating 30 years of Dance MusicCulture.
ADJ also performed his first LIVE set in a few years in March 2020 @MUTABOR in Mosc
ADJ is currently working on several projects and has released vinyls on For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm in 2020/21 with forthcoming vinyl on Science Cult.  He has also released several remixes on Diffuse Reality, Specimen, Hierophant Dubs/Exaltin 2020/21.
Pyramid Transmissions have just also released a 40 track compilation with all artists involved with the label and parties for the last 21 years, a seminal album for lovers of Underground Electro/Electronica.
ADJ also releases the EARTHLINGS Compilations with Veronica Green, with whom he collaborates musicly under the name ORGANISM, raising funds for World Animal Protection through 70 track compilations from some of the best underground electronic artists from around the world.
