Karell - Techno Minds #114

Born in Pirassununga, in the interior of São Paulo. His taste for electronic music was influenced by his family. He began his career in 2011 and his biggest reference is DJ David Guetta and, after a few years of studying as a DJ, Ricardo Farah started performing at parties and events, playing at the electronic bar "GB Drinks" in the south zone of São Paulo.
 
In 2017, he began participating in the "Hardlovers" podcast, presenting Hardstyle sets, a style he listened to when he was a teenager and, still using the DJ name, Ricardo Farah.
 
So in 2018 he created the project "Avalanche" focused on the Trance scene, with national and international influence. Soon after, the projects were combined, thus becoming "RF".
 
Since then, RF has been bringing its essence to its performances. Performing at events such as: "Wobble in Trance", "Gaudium", "TR16", "Signal", "Perspective Indoor" and "Ephedra".
 
In 2020 he played at the biggest event in the "Hard" scene in São Paulo, called "Hardfall". Thus sharing the stage with names like the Hardstyle DJ, MC Villain. That same year he performed at the following online events: "Ephedra", "Nave Mãe", "Circo Psicodélico", "Sulburbass" and "XCH International" in a B2B performance with Deerson, live that was broadcast in Brazil and Mexico directly from EMD studio.
 
In 2021, RF became a resident of the "Hardlovers" podcast and performed in the "Psycollection" project. In the same year he went to the south of the country, performing on web radio programs, thus having the privilege of releasing sets outside of the country. Brazil. He also participated in a live conversation at Pista Pirata, talking a little about the history of hard music. In parallel to this, he released two techno sets and one of them at the woodcutter club live.

Sessions Sonores were born from a desire to open a window on the world of electronic music. The concept is based on three main pillars: discoveries, meetings and sessions.

First of all, the discoveries bring together our selection of EP and LP reviews, growing and recognized labels, record stores always ready to unearth nuggets for our pleasure, festivals & clubs with eclectic posters, articles around vinyl as a mythical object, the history of electronic culture, cutting-edge literature as well as party guides and diaries.

Then, the meetings revolve around written or filmed interviews. We are truly going to meet the key players who bring electronic culture to life: DJs, producers, label owners, event organizers, promoters and even volunteers without whom many events would probably not be conceivable.

Finally, the sessions bring together our selection of podcasts and mixes in order to provide the sound layer to listen to at home, with friends or on the way.
