The remix package for ’Trusting Me' includes mixes from Kitsuné producer Le Crayon, Dusty Kid, Mixmag loving Penner & Muder, Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt, Phunktastike, Taras 9000 and Piconome, Winner of the 'Trusting Me’ remix competition on Beatport. Piconome managed to beat nearly 300 entrants to make it onto the single release.

Hamburg duo Hauke Freer and Matthias Relling aka Session Victim return to Delusions of Grandeur with their second long player, 'See You When You Get There'.

Right from the start it's clear Session Victim's way with a groove hasn't diminished in the two years since their debut album, 2012's 'The Haunted House of House'. ‘Do It Now’ and ‘Hey Stranger’ open the record with the duo's trademark blend of subtle sampling, gloriously swinging beats and the same off-kilter sensibility that consistently raises them above their modern disco peers.

The new album marks a conscious progression in Freer & Relling's approach, evolving the sample-based production style that's won them plenty of fans since their emergence in 2008. Whereas their debut album was recorded in the duo's bedrooms, the new LP instead sees them embracing a full studio set-up, split between their own Hamburg-based studio and the fully-kitted out Room G studio in San Francisco.

Despite being situated in one of the USA's most beautiful locations, the duo found little time for anything outside the work at hand. Time not spent in the studio saw them raiding the two-dollar bins of Amoeba Music for interesting records to sample. "Having access to a fully-equipped studio was like hitting the jackpot. It was a bit intimidating too - we thought 'if we cannot write the LP here, it’s not in us'. A few days later we already forgot about this and were immersed in jamming and exploring," says Hauke. "We had access to all sorts of 80s drum machines, synths and fender rhodes of course that added another layer to the whole thing."

The resulting LP is as expected one that suits a variety of moods within SV's idosyncratic range - from the dancefloor thrills of the piano-led Never Forget, the classic disco percussion & filtered guitar licks of Stick Together and the heads down groove of The Most Beautiful Divorce Ever to the more laid back jazz tempos of Hyuwee and Crystal Maze, while the record also has a place for the more oddball moments of Under Your Spell and Eos Place. ‘See You When You Get There' finds Session Victim at their best yet, with an accomplished album that will likely emerge as one of 2014's strongest in its field.

We’re very excited about this EP from 22-year-old French newcomer, Leon Revol. Hailing from Bordeaux, he previously released gems on Apersonal Music, Carré Bleu Rec and Boutade Musique (under the name Leonid.) before changing his name. This EP he’s put together for us shows huge potential for the youngster, with a sophisticated sound that is beyond his years. ‘Clear Definition (Dub Mix)’ comes across like vintage Herbert with a more emotive edge, ‘Eulogy For Hip-Hop’ is a string-laden, looping roller, and ‘Good Jack’ takes things deeper still for some smoky early-morning slo-mo vibes.

Following on from Phil Gerus' 'Make Time' EP, the next release on Berlin's True Romance comes from label boss Tensnake. 'Machines' is home to three rather brilliant tracks that should usher in the summer. And strangely enough, with cooing vocals and disco filters, it feels as French as droopy Gauloises and 6pm adultery.

We're premiering closing track 'All In All' which sticks to the classic Tensnake template with predictably excellent results. Right out of the gate you know this one is gonna cause some serious moments on the dancefloor. The bassline casually struts along with a rude level of funk, while the fizzing synths gradually bring the whole thing to a rolling boil.

@brexitjazz was a spontaneous jam project created by @beanfield, Roberto Di Gioia (@marsmobilofficial) and @Compost boss Michael Reinboth the day after the Brexit referendum in the UK. They launched a remix competition for their eponymous track, and this rolling rework from Italian Rebirth gracers @crsbrg does a fine job of elevating it to dancefloor bliss.

We can definitely feel it from the first second the record starts, with Static, mashing up samples from 80's dub music and west-coast funk to finally sound as a surprising modernized classic house anthem. The second track of the record 'Enove Lough' features a deconstructed and mysterious Rhodes loop delivering a smart groove until a delightful sexy vocal sample get in the mix to round off this deeper but easily danceable cut. The B-side of the record starts with 'Cape Town Mambo', a tune whose graceful horns loop keeps the listeners on an endless dreamy trip while its mid-tempo jazzy beat will have them hips sensually shaking without any doubt. The record has its consistency assured with ending on a 100 BPM powerful hip-hop beat with high-pitched and happy vocals as the Nirvana of this 4 tracks sensual and groovy journey.
