Famed for his reworks and edits, Jacques Renault brings a release off Swedish label Local Talk, run by close friends Mad Mats and Tooli.

Based in Brooklyn, Jacques is a globetrotting DJ who also runs the roving Let’s Play House party night and label. Along with regular releases on his own imprint, Jacques boasts music on other scene leading labels such as Endless Flight, DFA Records, Rekids, Permanent Vacation and Defected. His induction into Local Talk's family of artists may nearly break his already exhaustible release CV.

Local Talk is a Swedish label globally known as a trusted source of timeless House music with influences in jazz, funk and soul. Whether its jacking, raw or deep, each release is compiled with care and attention to detail. What binds them together is an honesty that doesn’t follow fashion, hype or gimmicks.

Their launching their imprint with the 'Obsessions EP' 12" from French producer @ethyene, who forms part of the burgeoning label @moonrise-hill-material alongside Folamour, Kaffe Crème & Okwa. The capital was awash with beautiful people. They danced elegantly under the pale glow of the moon as the framework of great buildings loomed spectacularly overhead. In the distance the cries of the new year could be heard echoing through the park and she gazed out towards the exotic sprawl before her. The balcony was getting cold as the light continued to fade, but she feared little for the chill. She was warm at home now. 

Pont Neuf is a French record label operating out of the capital. They are set to release a new EP from Tour-Maurbourg in the coming weeks.

Young Bordeaux-based producer Leon Revol found support from the likes of Move D with his 2016 debut EP for Monologues Records 'Clear Definition'. Following releases on Secret Reels and Future Disco, he returns with another stunning collection of tracks that are considerably beyond his years. 'Pink Coffee' and 'Sun Is The Place' see him work pleasingly warm synth lines over organic percussion, 'Embers' channels more sunshine with its summery guitar licks and 'Birds' shows his depth wth a non-dancefloor workout reminiscent of Floating Points.
