Now four releases in, Razor-N-Tape Reserve continues to deliver the deepness with this EP from the Netherlands’ Junktion. Although a relative upstart on the scene, Junktion has been getting some serious heads nodding lately with releases on Sleazy Beats and Outplay, and the Hot & Bothered EP continues to define his dusty and organic sound. From the summery ease of the title track, to the fresh take on the oft-sampled 'I'm Wishin' to the discofied chugger 'Fling Cleaning' followed by the slow-burning 'Visions of You,' this EP is a beautiful listen from beginning to end. And the kids are gonna dig it too.

Fouk, comprised of schoolmates Daniel Leseman and Hans Peeman (aka Junktion), first caught our attention in 2014 with their First Things First debut on Output. The Dutch duo then followed it up with releases on Room with a View and Detroit Swindle's Heist. They now deliver their fourth EP, Gruff, on London-based House of Disco Records, where Fouk now join a roster already boasting Francis Inferno Orchestra, Psychemagik, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Monitor 66 and more.

The title track and our favourite off the release, "Gruff" is an amalgamation of all funk music's greatness – a walking bassline underpin, groove-fuelled guitar licks, heady melodies on a wah-wah synth and dreamy vocal snippets. A healthy tribute to old-school funk in a modern-day format fit for any dancefloor.

Fouk's Gruff EP drops on vinyl on 18th January and digitally on 1st February 2016.

After making his debut as part of duo @Klubbhuset on Let’s Play House, Artur Brandstrom initiates his solo run under the alias “Ari Bald” for @betterlistenrecords. The Moonshiner EP is a disco house record in full, with heavy sampling beefed up by club-ready drums laced with 909s.

Salin Records warmly welcomes Diamond to the family, a very talented, young producer based in Oxford (UK), who found a place in our heart. When Diamond reached out to us with a raw demo of "Target Blue" we couldn’t get the melody out of our heads for days. The track instantly put a smile on our face and with Alex Wilson's sax lines it spreads an enormous energy which made us feel as if we were 20 again. Later Diamond came up with "Pen Burns The Paper" and "You Like Jazz?" which built an awesome fundament for an artist EP. There couldn't be a better title than "You Like Jazz? EP" as it reflects the personality of the producer - Diamond, who has a kind of obsession with Jazz but at the same time is not too serious about it. We also welcome our dear friend Tour-Maubourg to the label. His breakient mix of "Target Blue" is a brilliant example of where inspiration can lead you if you just let it go. His talent for creating emotions is outstanding. Daria Salin adapted the power of Diamonds music in her painting. We are happy and proud to serve you Salin008 "Diamond - You Like Jazz?
