Today’s Debut runs in tandem with the exciting news of the launch of Cin Cin. The label, headed up by Fort Romeau and Warm’s Ali Tillett, will host an ongoing series of split 12″s featuring friends old and new, in the spirit of collaboration.

With the A-side of opus number #001 (split between Fort and Nick Höppner), “Untitled”, Fort gives us the first taste of what Cin Cin has in store for us. This dreamy techno 909 track is completed with choral panning synths, keeping us guessing for what Höppner’s input will be on the flip.

Brassica returns with a brand new 12” single for Civil Music that includes new track "Get Down" and a remix of "Tears I Can Afford" from Belfast duo Bicep. 
‘"Get Down" arrives simultaneously with ‘Nature Isn’t Mute’; a deluxe extended edition of "Man Is Deaf", the producers debut album praised by Dazed & Confused and De:Bug and nominated for Album of the Year at the DJ Mag awards. "Nature Isn’t Mute" completes the Terence McKenna quote the album was named after and contains seven additional tracks.
On "Get Down" Michael Wright shows he hasn’t lost any of that Brassica magic with a heady 6 minute workout. As the track sprawls and unfurls, various elements come in and out of play, hinting at the foundations of the Brassica sound, with Wright guiding the listener along for a joyous ride. The single is backed by a remix of album track "Tears I Can Afford" courtesy of Belfast duo Bicep who embrace the occasion fully by extending the original to 8 minutes and playing with its acid elements in fine fashion.
Happier in the shadows than under the glare of projectors, Brassica continues to refine a unique sound and approach that has made him a favorite of your favorites. Already OUT, don't sleep

@dannydaze returns to KOMPAKT EXTRA / SPEICHER with one of the most intense and gratifying tracks we have had the pleasure to hear this year. The Miami native's relentless passion for underground '90s electro and techno resounds in "Aire". A collaboration with up and comer SHOKH - a name you may recognise from DANNY DAZE's imprint OMNIDISC. For those that like their techno dark and dirty. 

The rise of @patrice-baumel since last's years now ironically titled "Surge" (KOMEX89) has been steady for good reason - positivity, passion and a lot of hard work. With his days as a resident of TROUW well behind him and now a key member of the KOMPAKT family, he has had what one would call a breakthrough year. There's that remix of CUBICOLOR that was nearly impossible to avoid. Then there's been a steady stream of remixes for SASHA & POLIÇA, MAX COOPER, DAMIAN LAZARUS and DEPECHE MODE. Oh yeah, he's also become a part of the AFTERLIFE crew and put out an EP called "Glutes". Welcome to "Sorcery" - a catch and release techno roller that ripens with a fundamental percussion lead.

Carving out an enviable reputation across the globe for his distinctive and highly personal brand of House music, Kiko Navarro’s voyage of sonic discovery has been going strong for almost three decades now. From London to the Far East, Kiko has travelled far and wide with his music, embracing sounds from each continent as he goes. Kiko’s new album, Afroterraneo- also named after his music label- defines the sound of his home. The album incorporates sounds touched by the Mediterranean Sea, drawing influences from Europe, Africa and his roots in the Balearic Islands. Afroterraneo is all about fusion. It includes Afro-Cuban songs like "Okere", "Karabali" and "Ekobio Monina", Midwest-African flavour on "Ihabogi Rawaly" and "Beréde", Flamenco with "La Fatiga", Balearic emotions with maestro Joan Bibiloni on "El Salto Del Martin" and "Vida", South African vibes on "Olwakhuthando", Afro Mbira lines with European TB303 acid blips on "Cacao Ceremony" and it all ends with his own tribute to his mother on "Para Mama". Born on Mallorca, Kiko’s sound reflects the sun-drenched, slow living atmosphere of the Balearic island he still calls home. Obsessed from an early age with the more soulful side of US House music, Navarro’s DJ skills soon attracted the attention of nightlife behemoth Pacha who offered him club residencies both in Palma and in Ibiza. Next came a monthly gig at Space Ibiza and the rest, as they say, is history. A true Renaissance Man; now also a family man, today’s Kiko Navarro is perhaps even more focused and dedicated to his life in music than ever before. An album tour this year will see him play DJ sets in Italy, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Japan, South Korea, China with many more to be confirmed. Whether in the studio crafting records or in the club controlling the dance-floor, Kiko’s musical mission has become the habit of a lifetime.
