Off-License Records had originally signed the 'Eternal Sin' EP several months ago, alongside a single track for the 'Reduced To Clear' series. However, just before the intended release of the latter, news of Josh's tragic passing in a car accident surfaced. In reaching out to his family, there arose the question of whether to proceed with these planned releases. The family expressed their desire for Josh's music to persist in finding an audience. Reports indicated Josh had a substantial collection of tracks, including a full EP, awaiting release at a later time.

For those who come across this message, it's important to note that the entirety of the proceeds generated from this EP will be directed back to Chill Collective's family and close circle. The decision was made not to retain the typical share for the record label, as supporting Josh's family took precedence over any label gains. Gratitude was extended to the mastering house, ION Digital, for their contribution in mastering these tracks without charge. Additionally, heartfelt appreciation was conveyed to all who had already shown support for Josh's previous release, Salvation (OLRTC011).

In moments like these, the Drum & Bass community's essence of love, respect, and communal support shines through. These values are foundational to the genre and continue to resonate. Rest in peace, Josh. May the enduring legacy of your music remain a testament to your spirit. <3
