That was my first work for Disney!
Overheard me on the Internet, they invited me to audition for the russian soundtrack recording. I did it! in spite of it was my first recording in a professional studio!
So my voice forever captured in this lovely cartoon Bolt! i adore this song!

Barking at the moon ("Bolt" official russian version)

"Lado" - derived from the Lada - from Slavic mythology - the goddess of spring and love. In Russian folklore was used to mean "soul", "love", "God", "rain", etc. In this context, represents faith, the meaning of life, love.

Rowan-Tree - just an allegory. In this context it is the soul. This soul does not have enough faith and the meaning of life. Ryabinushka(Rowan-tree) is a hero of Russian folk songs, because Rowan is not whimsical and long-suffering lack of moisture, and this is exactly like people do not care about their spiritual nourishment. But there is a moment when the soul asks sacred "Lado" - what is the meaning of life, where is your faith, so necessary for everyone.
This is two languages song: Russian and English. The English text is not exact translation but it is echoed to Russian text. The song idea is to show that no matter what language, dialect, we speak, we always have the same 
questions.
