Spektre's record label @respektrecordings revisits its back catalogue with the third edition of its Reworks series, and it's a peak time techno release with new remixes by Kos:mo and Sam Kitt.

Kos:mo is a German artist from Cologne who alongside his previous releases on Respekt, has worked regularly with other respected record labels such as UMEK's 1605 and Christian Smith's Tronic. He has remixed Spektre's classic track "Something Inside Us," and he lifts the energy with a new bassline that compliments the original's infectious melody and mysterious vocal.

Sam Kitt is a UK producer from Cardiff, and he is back on Respekt after a recent release on Pleasurekraft's Kraftek. He breathes fresh life into Jody 6's "Hold Me," and delivers an acid techno remix that replaces the original's lead synth with new acid pulses that complement the old-school breakbeat and euphoric vocal of the original.

Both of these outstanding remixes showcase Kos:mo and Sam Kitt to be up-and-coming talents from the Respekt roster, who over the next few months will be returning to the imprint with some brand-new original music of their own.

The Argentinian prodigy Nicolas Taboada lands on VOLTA for the first time with an epic release. Nicolas is a statement artist from his country that has already played the best clubs and festivals of Latin America and has been touring Europe for the past years with a packed schedule. His arsenal of releases includes Drumcode, Arcane, Factory 93 and has already made him a force to be acknowledged in the Techno scene.

This release brings two very different yet connected tunes crafted by Taboada.
“The Sound” has an epic narrative with an intro and a breakdown that will turn all the heads on the dance floor and transform all expectation into euphoria, with a rolling beat and a lot of feeling and futuristic sounds.

“In My Mind” is all about groove. Hypnotic vocals and some opera-like choir stabs with a groovy baseline make this a very sexy track and a stomper for big stages and peak time moments.
