We return with the massive EP produced by our Teknotribe record Allstars, Mark Valsecchi, and Ryan Hill also featuring a huge Maksim Dark remix. Pathos is a peak time melodic mover. Its techy bassline is complemented by various digital and analog arpeggios, constantly engaging the listener. Interesting leads create a surging forward, endless energy throughout the song. Ethos is a groovy, bottom-heavy track with tons of energy and dark hypnotic melodies. It's constant, disco-like beat sits as a strong foundation with intricate elements bouncing in and out of the track, culminating a progressive breakdown with an insatiable, mysterious lead introduced over the main beat.

Captain Mustache delivers his ten-track album ‘Indigo Memories’, set for release on Bedrock this December.
With releases via KOMPAKT, My Favorite Robot and Helena Hauff’s Return To Disorder, Captain Mustache’s reputation as an artist and a producer of note continues to build. A lover of Detroit techno and Electroclash, his take on electronic music has welcomed a wealth of supporters ranging from Laurent Garnier and Dave Clarke to Jennifer Cardini and Louisahhh. His latest album, ‘Indigo Memories’, showcases this diversity in full, presenting a powerful and emotive trip through techno, electro and beyond to deliver an in-depth representation of his wide-reaching sound palette, set for release on John Digweed’s iconic Bedrock imprint.
“After years of work, I’m super happy to release a complete album on Bedrock. It’s the highest level of recognition for a techno producer, and I’m thankful to John Digweed for that. I’m glad and proud to present these ten special songs, which combine my influences between Detroit techno and electro music. Many were produced during the pandemic when I was feeling melancholic, thinking of the neon lights of the party and the colors of the night. Each track sounds like a tribute to nightlife and a love statement to dance music, with a romantic dimension and a call to dance. I’m honored to have worked on ‘Catch Me’ with Davina of the legendary ‘Don’t You Want It’
produced by Mad Mike, one of my all-time favourite songs. I also wanted to close the album with ‘Mentally Naked’ featuring Chicks on Speed, which was played by Andrew Weatherall during his last radio show, just before the beginning of party black-out. Now I’m pleased that these ‘Indigo Memories’ come with the return of the light.” - Captain Mustache.
Opening via a medley of brooding synths, vibrant leads and warping basslines across ‘Bleu Azur’, ‘title cut ‘Indigo Memories’ and ‘Paola’, the Frenchman quickly establishes his ability to fuse dark and light, playful and serious. Escalating leads throughout ‘Bleu Ciel’ add a sense of panic and unrest, while ‘Catch Me’ showcases a zipping electro production armed with tough metallic drums, softened by Davina’s captivating vocals. ‘Andromeda’ and ‘Ultra Neon’ shift towards resonant, melodic journeys, whilst the sleek ‘Midnight Man’ offers up visions of late-night drives through neon-lit landscapes. ‘Shapes & Oddity’ then interjects and interrupts the calm with a tough, dark trip, before closing via the unwinding, hypnotic wormhole of indie leaning closer ‘Mentally Naked’, featuring Chicks On Speed.

Moonwalk kick off 2017 in their usual style, unrolling the first production effort of the year in the form of three original tracks and a collab with label mate Teenage Mutants.

Komet comes in swiftly with a low end throbbing bass, setting a murky mood. The duo apply one of their hallmarks, developing an uplifting winding groove that is equally enveloping as it is relentless, making for a great build-up track.
Recalling a celestial atmosphere, Abstract offers an upbeat tech house exploration featuring alert arpeggiators and an optimistic melody.
Odensa, a coop with Teenage Mutants emerges from the same dark standpoint, laden with earworm synth loops and a sunken bassline. While the combination provides a steady backbone, the groove is leavened by a chordal countermelody that seizes the main focus.

By far the gloomiest track of the bunch, Vite sees Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants join forces and intersect styles in a buzzing banger full of familiar elements. A paced rhythm, rave pads, dubby stabs and subtle kicks craft a relaxed, yet effective build-up. Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants’ knack for deep tech flourishes and synthetic tones finds perfect expressions in this EP, ranging from low to high energy heaters fit for any set time.

Watch out for this one! The 'Happiness' EP by Samuel Dan is an absolute scorcher with three dance-centric tunes, including a remix from the Rawsome bossman himself, GRECO. The original mix of 'Happiness' generates a fantastic fusion of dark tones and atmosphere from dirty synths and guitar samples, while also delivering a fun and exciting vocals and bass rhythm that will be a hit on the dancefloor. Samuel continues this theme in 'Wormhole,' while taking on a more 80's influence with recognizable synth and drum samples combining Tonka-esque vocal edits, all glued together by a steady pulsing bass that swings nice and heavy. Polishing off the release, GRECO tries his hand on 'Happiness,' reaching into the primal depths of rhythm opting for a steady supply of bouncing drums that bump hard and heavy. GRECO rounds off the edges with an airy, uplifting array of synths that open up into a blissful moment of ecstasy as the drums join the party.
